Chapter 11 - A Newspaper Report, a Few Days After the Disappearances

TRIPLE DISAPPEARNCE IN RENOWNED SCHOOL

By Annette Walters

September 15th, 2005

One of the most mysterious disappearances that has taken place in the whole year. Three students, all of them gifted students of the Schatten Academy have been reported missing from their school where they had returned for another splendid year at the prestigious Academy.

Damien and Finley Ashford, both aged 16, twins have both been reported missing from the 6th of September. Both of them were last seen the previous day in a welcome party that seems to be held every year when the students arrive for a new year. Damien Ashford was informed to wear a black jeans and a sky blue T-shirt while Finley Ashford was informed to wear a black shirt and beige cargo pants. None of the twins have been since then. Both of them have Caucasian skin and blue eyes, are 6ft tall and have raven black hair.

Allen Zia Reynolds, aged 17 has been reported missing from the 7th of September, just one day after the disappearance of the Ashford brothers. She had last been seen in her dorm room wearing a lilac sundress and white converse, a silver heart necklace and blue earrings. Allen has whitish skin and violet-grey eyes.

Local police fear that all these three students might be in danger. The involvement of foul play has also been hinted at. However, the possibility of kidnapping has not been ruled out.

All of the three students' rooms have been searched and no clothes or money seem to have been taken. No evidence has been found that will indicate any foul play although the idea has not been ruled out.

Parents of all the three children have reported against the Schatten Academy saying that the school was not careful enough and that proper methods are not being employed to find them. Hannah Ashford, elder sister of the Ashford twins says, 'Schatten Academy has always been sceptical in its treatment of students. The ones with the money are taken full care of while the ones on scholarship seem to have no value to them.'

Detective Madison Thompson, leading officer on the case says, 'The students should have been reported missing earlier. There is a very slim chance that we will find them alive. However, the best of our forces are at work and we hope to find these three children alive and safe.'
