Even after hearing the explanation, Haniel still didn't understand what was going on. Perhaps it was because her mind was exhausted, but it seemed as if she couldn't process a single word that the Archduchess had said. Wary of angering Ouriel, the Duchess tried to find the words that wouldn't sound demanding before she responded.
'I apologize, Archduchess Agravain. Can you please tell me the keynote of what's happening?'
Haniel knew that her body wasn't in the condition to fight anymore. Her last resort of sacrificing her covenant would have broken her limits but would leave her incapacitated or, much worse and the most probable outcome, dead. She didn't mind either of the two. However, since the Archduchess had made her arrival, the Duchess coveted to be of help in any way that she could without faltering a single moment. Needless to say, she was ashamed of the appearance that she was showing in the presence of Ouriel.
