Mikołaj and Łukasz entered the conference room where weekly meetings of department heads were held. Skrzynecki entered like a conqueror - confident, with his head held high and with a look saying that the master of the world has just entered the stage, and if anyone tries to say some indiscriminate comment on his trip to Tenerife in the company of Stefan Szwedas, he will know his anger. However, no one made any strange comments, and Mikołaj was surprised to notice that people smiled very friendly and sincerely at the sight of him. Skrzynecki greeted them politely with a nod and a quiet "good morning", but there was no time for a chat, as Jarek Kamiński called him right away.
