His stomach finally calmed down a bit and Skrzynecki was able to leave the toilet. However, he felt terrible. Silent, pale, he returned to his desk and did what he had prepared for today. He didn't even touch today's post.
His behavior was so unnatural that it disturbed everyone. Especially Łukasz, who felt remorse for the fact that he reacted so harshly to the information that Skrzynecki was leaving his job. Mikołaj always had a smile and words of encouragement for his friends, no matter how bad he felt or how angry he was. He always cared for a great atmosphere and the well-being of others, because he believed that thanks to this, even the most unpleasant duties become a little less heavy. He was right. Today, however, it was Mikołaj who looked as if he really needed a helping hand and a kind word.
"Mikołaj, are you okay?" Łukasz asked thoughtfully.
