Chapter 3 - Chapter 2

"Don't be so good or you will end up being worst", was what my dad said.

"Good things happens to good people", was what my mother said.

" Good things happens to lucky people ", is what I say.

Seventeen years elapsed with plain mundane concerns. The bad days changed for worst, the summer changed, the monsoon changed, the winter changed. The years rolled. There were slight turns on our newly made fresh roads. The love turned to hate and the drama turned to chaos.

On 19 April, 1993. When I turned twenty three. My mom intended for party. I clearly disapproved her proposal. The funny day I was landed to endure 'Life'.

Next day, my results were out. I passed out my graduation with merits. My ma was proud and happiest of all. Everyone congratulated me. A painful stick to my father's black ass. Not everyone was happy of my success. You know the rule of life Nothing comes free but if you are successful then jealousy is a free offer. All college students were invited for farewell celebration. I bade my 'hi-bye' friends " Good bye". Nonetheless my two closest chaps were 'Dashing' and 'Handsome' (what I called them and they called themselves).

"Hey Dash", I called him from a bus stop I would say with assurity that if I had not called him we would never meet again and I was true.

" oh! Murk, my joker", he responded.

"You never see me. Do you have weak eyesight?" , I asked.

He chuckled

"No, I am having a problem to ignore".

I glanced hysterically so he pacified and urged, "come on. Your owl old friend is talking to you"

I barely understand him. A haunting spirit of wanting jokes.

We went to the nearest coffee shop.

"Where's Handsy?", I asked.

"He is busy with his mother"

"I hope she is fine"

He created a smacking sound and ordered for two espresso paused and relaxed a bit.

"His mother is in lethal condition with a combination of headache, nausea and influenza", he sipped his espresso staring at the girl sitting opposite to us " How's your cru-?"

" come on I don't love her now. She is clearly not interested. ",I interrupted grabbing the attention of Miss opposite.

I was silent for a moment. He was smirking with his expert, irritating, raging, extra-over-smartness, Idiots-something-to-know-look.

" So, do you want to know something?", I asked.

"Your crush number".

I-i-i had a bombing on my recent helpless state. I was shocked that I had no delusion of killing him. I immediately got up creating a thomp sound on the maghony table and left the spot leaving my half coffee costing me merely two pounds.

Dash followed me and ran faster than me.

" come on. I am Just joking, I will buy you batman comics"

I automatically stopped my hasty legs.

"Really"

"Not really, just joking, I will give you your crush number, she is my girlfriend's cousin".

"Lucy Hail"

"Yes, Lucy".

We hugged, handshaked and a funny move discovering the last presence of our last meeting. The last day of my life where I had seen him. I did not accept Lucy's number. If a girl doesn't likes you it's fair not to disturb. Well bye Lucy .Your's past mad lover.
