Chapter 39 - Fighting Instinct

As soon as that scene unfolded in everyone's view, the crowd went crazy.

"What do you mean ?? The guy was being beaten up just now, how did he turn so suddenly like that?" This kind of question did not plague only one person, but the majority who were there.

"Look! What an unexpected change!" The old man was a little impressed by the scene.

"But you're still going to die! Too bad!" The old pessimist next door spoke again.

On the stage, breathing heavily, Arthur still had his fist extended, while the other was at his waist. His right fist, the one that punched, was bleeding slightly, but his eyes were as calm as ever.

While in position, Arthur closed his eyes and absorbed the feeling he had when he hit the punch. All that Force within him was moving and pulsing, like a living creature. After so much being beaten and beaten, that Force lightly began to awaken within him. Since she was able to understand her during the fight with Abyss she was asleep and inactive, but Arthur was unable to force her awakening.

After getting up and counterattacking, he finally put it to use. But he realized that this Force was contained within his body, unable to move out of it.

"I'm sure this is better than nothing and it definitely saved my life!" Not wanting to have more than what was already given, Arthur left the matter for later.

Just as Hedgehead had said, he was really feeling arrogant and proud since he received the system and became stronger, and it got worse after the fight at the restaurant, since he had defeated so many people alone.

But after that beating, all that arrogance that was hidden, that inflated and dominated his conscience little by little was crushed several times until it broke completely. Arthur now did not have an underestimating view of others, but he treated everyone as his equal in power, even a dog on the street. He no longer dared to overestimate himself.

Thanks to this, his vision became sharper and he had become less aloof and negligent.

After he finished understanding how to use force to his advantage, Arthur looked at Hedgehead's lying body and shouted, "Get up!" His Will taking effect.

After hearing Arthur, a laugh came out of Hedgehead's mouth when he jumped up and was soon on his feet. The right side of his abdomen was bleeding slightly.

"It looks like you caught me off guard, boy! But a rib is just a rib. It won't happen again!" At the end of his words, he again ran towards Arthur, but now in a more refined and fast way.

As soon as he got close, his fist rose again and an explosive force was being transmitted to them.

Seeing that Hedgehead was more determined to kill him, Arthur's desire to fight woke up completely and he was on guard.

Before Hedgehea's fist could hit, the same thing happened to his arm again, but this time he suddenly stopped and punched with his other fist.

This action took Arthur by surprise, but due to his ability being still active, he also deflected this other punch just inches away.

This fight went on like this for a time, in which each Hedgehead punch was magically deflected by Arthur every time, narrowly deflecting.

What Arthur was doing was just using the momentum of force to his advantage. Before Hedgehead's fist could hit him, he would push his arm with a little force, and the rest of the movement would be dodged based on reflexes and movements. If he tried to do that and Hedgehead's arm was far away, the trajectory could still be readjusted, which is why every punch was deflected so closely.

The fight became more and more intense and Arthur's movements started to become more refined, fast and powerful. His body moved more easily, while he slowly recovered with his incredible Vitality. The fighting patterns that Arthur could remember or those of Hedgehead himself were constantly tested to see which was the most efficient.

Hedgehead started to get angry and put more force on his blows, also getting faster. But contrary to his expectations, Arthur was still able to deal with all of them.

Meanwhile, people in the stands, in the entire Arena, were silent, shocked by the changes that were taking place. Especially Vitor and Snake, who watched the fight from afar.

The fight in a few moments became a type of training for Arthur, who learned from his mistakes and never repeated them. His fighting style began to consolidate into something like a strong current. His movements began to indicate an endless flow. He realized that if he maintained a pattern of movement, other people could learn and master it, just as he was doing with Hedgehead.

Hedgehead's blows and movements began to be trapped by this flow, and when he tried to leave, Arthur found a way to bring him back.

In a few moments, Hedgehead found himself trapped in Arthur's movements and if he stopped attacking for even a second, he would be completely filled with sonic attacks like Arthur's first punch.

'Is this kid some kind of monster !? Was he already hiding that strength ?? ' Like Arthur in the beginning, Hedgehead was filled with doubts. Arthur's growth in strength control was simply inconceivable.

When he tried to look at Arthur, he only saw a sharp look and with a strange light, as if he was concentrating on understanding what he was doing and improving.

As time went on, Hedgehead's resistance began to wear off and began to show signs of weakening. His breathing was heavier and his movements slower. After a few more minutes, his muscles finally failed and he heard Arthur speak softly.

"Loosed!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Immediately, as if he had pressed a button, countless sonic boom sounds were heard. Hedgehead's diaphragm, neck and head were struck almost simultaneously and sounds of breaking bones resounded through the Arena.

Hedgehead's body came to a sudden stop, his neck in an awkward position. The body then slowly fell forward, leaving only Arthur standing on the stage.
