Samantha's POV
After I left Blake I rushed to the bathroom. I could feel the tears falling down my cheek; Thank god no one was in there.
I didn't understand why I was crying. It's not like I was madly in love with him, I just thought we were actually friends, clearly I was wrong.
He was so harsh. As I went through everything he said, more tears poured out of my eyes.
Of course the one person I decided to get a little close to, let my wall down for, does this.
I knew the bell was about to ring, I couldn't face seeing Blake in my last class. But I had no choice, at least today Kiefer don't have practice so I wouldn't have to wait for him.
I zoned out for the rest of my classes, even art which was my favorite. Before I got to my last class, I let out a deep breath. Motivating my self in my head, 'everything's okay, you don't need him. He means nothing..' I said to myself.
When I got inside, I glanced over to the back of the class, but he wasn't there. He's probably late or maybe someone out there likes me and decided to make him skip. I doubt he skipped. He made it clear that I meant nothing, so if I wasn't a big deal he could face me.
After the bell rang my eyes focused on the door, waiting for him to enter.
When the final bell rang, I was awoken from my trance to realized he skipped class.
I quickly ran to my locker, got my books and headed to the door as fast as I could. I didn't want to see Aya; she gave me questioning looks after lunch during our classes. I knew she wants to know what was going on, but I wasn't in the mood to relive what happened earlier today.
When I got to Kiefer's car, I looked at the mirror to realized I looked like hell. My eyes were red and puffy; anyone could tell I was crying.
When I saw Kiefer coming towards the car, I began to panic. He would know I was crying and as much as I want to tell him what happened I couldn't. If he knew he would kill Blake and as much as I hated him I didn't want him to know I cared enough to tell Kiefer.
When Kiefer got to the car, I quickly made my way to the passenger side.
The whole ride home I kept my head turned towards the window. Kiefer would try to make conversation but I wasn't interested.
When the car came to a stop, I looked outside to find that we weren't home.
I looked over to Kiefer with a questioning look.
"What happened?" He asked with questioning look.
"Nothing." I said as I looked down towards my lap, trying to hide my face.
"You're lying." He said with more anger. I could see his hand clenching around the steering wheel tightly.
I didn't respond.
"Is it Frost?" He said, as his fist were turning white from holding the wheel so tight.
Again I didn't respond.
"Gosh, Sam." He said as he banged his fist against the steering wheel.
After a moment of silence, I could tell Kiefer is trying to calm himself down.
"Sam, please tell me what happened." He said calmly, but I could still hear a hint of anger in his voice.
"I don't want you to overreact, it's really nothing." I said.
"I'm not going to overreact." He said.
"Seriously? I'm didn't say anything to you but you still beat up your steering wheel for no reason."
"Okay, maybe I over reacted. But I'm not going to anymore."
"Promise to not over react, get angry, or attack or harass the person I mention."
I could see Kiefer thinking this over. I knew he wanted to do all of the above even before telling him.
"I promise. But I wanted to know everything Sam." He said, seriously.
Okay he wanted to know everything so that's what he's going to get.
I could tell he got angry at certain parts by how hard his hand gripped the steering wheel. When I told him about the whole friends with benefits thing, I thought he was going to break the steering wheel.
"So I thought we were friends, but when I saw him today, he told me he only used me. He only hung out with me for the benefits." I said as I finished telling him everything.
Kiefer didn't tell me anything. I could see the anger in his movements as he got up out of the car, slamming the door behind him.
I got confused. I had no idea what he was doing. I saw pacing beside the car, letting out deep breaths, running his hands through his hair. Then all of a sudden, I heard a pound against the car door that rocked the car slightly, I just realized that Kiefer punched his car.
"Are you stupid?!" I screamed at him, as he got back into the car, and began to drive
"What is wrong with you? You just punched your baby." I continued.
"I either do that or kill Frost." He said in a growl, as his eyes were kept on the road.
"Ooookayyy. Well look at your hand, you couldn't waited till we got home and punch a pillow or something?" I said as I grabbed his swollen hand that was bloody from his knuckles.
When we finally got home, I could see Kiefer glaring at the house next door.
"You know, it's not going to blow up if you keep staring at it." I said pulling him through the gate.
"I could try." He said.
"Where's Kiesha?" I asked as we entered.
"I think she has a double shift." Kiefer said as he pulled me towards the couch to sit.
"Listen, I really didn't get to respond before when you told me all that stuff." Kiefer said with my hands in his.
"Yeah, I was kind of hoping that you would forget." I said.
"Well I didn't. I think it was incredibly stupid." He said with a shudder.
"With Frost. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Like really stupid." He continued.
"I get it." I said.
"Okay, just making sure. I honestly want to go and stab him, but I did not. He's an ass and took advantage of you."
"No. He didn't take advantage of me, I'm nota naive little girl, I was there too. I don't care that he wanted to stop the whole benefit thing I'm not in love with that guy. But I thought we were friends, and that's why I'm hurt I guess."
"What did I tell you-" Kiefer began to say.
"A guy like him doesn't have friends. I know, he said that too. I'm stupid for not listening to you."
"You're not stupid, he is. You're amazing and beautiful and really it's his lost." Kiefer said cupping my cheek,
"Thanks." I said as I put my hand over his that was on my face.
"How about me and you watch a movie and bond like old times?" Kiefer asked.
"Sounds like a plan, but first let's clean your hand." I said.

Blake's POV
After talking to Alexa I went upstairs pacing back and forth in my room.
How was I supposed to do this? What do I even say? I don't even think I'm going to be able to get her to talk to me again.
I glance at the window, I could see her cousin's car parked outside.
I laid down on my bed looking up at the ceiling, thinking about everything, when I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in." I said.
"Hey little bro." Alex said as he walked inside, shutting the door behind him.
I just looked over to him and nooded.
"Listen I'm sorry about before, I shouldn't of acted like that." He said and sat down at tge edge of my bed.
"It's alright man, I deserve it." I said, eyes still locked on the ceiling.
"No, you didn't. You're just a kid, you don't deserve to live like this. Worrying about being close with a girl."
"It was my choice to live like this, Alex." I said.
"Yeah I know, but we should have stopped you or something."
"Listen, it's not your fault." I said, finally looking at him.
"I guess. I just wanted to tell you good luck with talking to your girl."
"I don't even know what to do man. I told her off at school, saying the most horrible things I could think of so she would stay away. Now I have to go and try tell her 'by the way the leader of a gang is going to try and kidnap you to get to me, my bad." I said as I rubbed my hands over my face.
"Don't worry man, you'll get through it."
"You think so?" I asked.
"I hope so." He said.
After Alex left, I decided that it was time. It's not like I could wait any longer.
So I walk down the steps of my house just thinking all the way this could go wrong.
When I finally stood outside her door, I let out a deep breath. You could do this, you have to do this.
I rang the bell and after a few moments, it opened.
There was Kiefer.
As soon as he realized who it was, his face was clouded with anger. He stepped outside
and closed the door behind him.
As I was about to put up my hands in surrender, I could feel his fist connect with my jaw.
Beacuse I was caught off guard I stumbled back a bit.
I could feel the pain surging through my jaw, where he punched me.
He expected me to fight back, with the stance that I looked up to see him in, and as much as I wanted to I knew I couldn't.
"Listen, I probably deserved that but I could explain. I really need to talk to Samantha." I said as I held my hand to my jaw.
"Yeah, you did deserve that and much more, but I left you off easy. You better stay away from Samantha, Frost or I swear I'll kill you. BuShe's been through so much and she doesn't need you to add to that. She could do so much better that some little bad boy who just wants to get in her pants." Kiefer said, getting closer to me. I could feel my anger loosing control.
"I already got in her pants." I said looking straight into his eyes. I could see that really got to him. I knew he was about to tackle me, and this time I am ready.
But the sound of the door opening turned both our attention to her.
"Kiefer who is it?" Samantha said as she opened the door.
"No one, get back inside." He said trying to push her through the door.
But before he could, she looked over to me.
"What are you doing here?" She asked, looking at me with dark empty eyes.
"I really need to talk to you." I said.
"I don't care." She said, and walked inside grabbing Kiefer along with her, but he managed to glare at me before slamming the door.
Well that could have gone better.
