D. Chapter 01

Hala's mouth is tied. He couldn't cry the pain he was suffering. The veins on his face are bulged. He was drenched in his own sweat because of pain as well as the poison running through his body. He tried to fight back but his hands and legs were cut by his assailants. The back of his ankles were slashed when he was attacked, he couldn't lift them with all the pain.

His eyes aren't covered. There were four people who were torturing him. Black clothes and a mask that covered their facial features fully. They pinned him down and held his limbs in their grip.

Hala's eyes widened in fear when he saw one of the assailants raising his hammer and aiming at his knees. He tried to lift his legs and kick him. But he couldn't even free them from the assailants grip.

The assailant with the hammer pointed at Hala's legs and said to another assailant ,"hold them tightly."

Hala could feel the increasing strength of the assailants grip hold.

" This bastard, he never stopped killing our companions. Hiding behind his teammates, coward asshole. Now they left him. Let's see how he is going to save himself," the assailant with the hammer angrily shouted. The huge hammer in his hands was raised high and he hammered it on Hala's knees. He hammered the other knee. He hammered both knees again and then his legs. Blood splattered. Broken bone pieces could be seen. But he still hammered on Hala's knees. He raised his legs and stomped on Hala's thighs.

Hala's upper body convulsed with the torture. He is shaking violently with the suffering. He gritted his teeth. Sweat dropping on his face profusely. Tears fell from his reddened eyes.

The assailants were laughing madly. They shouted and encouraged the assailant with the hammer.

" Dude, his elbows, his elbows. Smash them," the assailant who gripped Hala's left hand shouted.

The assailant with the hammer stopped and moved towards Hala's hands.

Hala lost all his strength and he couldn't think properly with all the mental suffering from the pain.

As the assailant with the hammer was about to hammer Hala's elbows, the assailant who previously held down Hala's legs shouted," Brother stop."

The assailant with the hammer stopped and asked,"Why?"

" Let's cut his fingers," the assailant said in a wicked tone. He continued,"Didn't this guy kill all our friends with his arrows. Now let's cut his fingers. Rather than smashing his elbows, let's cut his fingers first. Remove them one by one. Let this guy see his strength being mutilated."

Other assailants laughed crazily with his suggestion. The assailant with the hammer stepped back. One of the assailants with the dagger tightly held and raised Hala's fingers in front of Hala's eyes.

Hala closed his eyes shut and averted his head when the assailant raised Hala's fingers in front of his face. He tried to free his hand violently.

One of the assailants held and turned Hala's head forcibly. "See. Don't blink. You must feel this", the assailant spoke to Hala with a wicked voice.

He raised his other hand and used the spells, "conscious mind" and "torture sight" on Hala.

Hala's mind became unusually extremely active. His eyes wide open involuntarily. His body shook with fear.

The assailant who held Hala's fingers laughed and slowly cut Hala's thumb.

Tears fell from Hala's wide opened eyes. His muscles convulsed. His whole body shook and he fiercely tried to free his hand from the assailant. He couldn't bear anymore.

The assailants laughed madly and commented looking at Hala's struggles. The assailant cut Hala's other fingers with intense pleasure. Hala was about to faint with all the abuse but the 'conscious mind' spell kept him awake to the torture.

One of the assatilant collected Hala's fingers and poured them on Hala and crazily laughed," here are your fingers. Now shoot your arrows. Kill us. Hahahaha."

They all laughed like demons and stepped on his bleeding hands.

One of the assailants turned to the person beside and said" Hey use your spell. Destroy his face. They all speak about this guy's handsome face don't they.

Destroy It.

They should be disgusted by looking at his face."

The assailant turned and said, "Yes, yes of course. How can we forget about that."

He raised his hands on Hala's face and used the spell,"acid spray" at close range.

Blue coloured acid liquid was sprayed on Hala's face and neck. As his eyes were wide opened, acid was sprayed into his eyes. His face and neck started to burn. His skin scarred. His vision became blurred. The pain was unbearable. Hala's face became creepy. His body couldn't take it anymore, he was on his last breath.

"Hey, this bastard is dying," one of the assailants spoke.

" Tch. We cannot do anything about it. Now, who's going to snap his neck?" asked another assailant.

Even the spell "conscious mind" couldn't keep Hala awake after all that torture and abuse. Hala lost consciousness with all the torture and torment he suffered.

As Hala lost consciousness, he received notifications.

[ Near death situation experienced.]

[ Defence armour will be used.]

Hala was instantly covered in an invisible protective cover.

[ Processing the situation.]

[ Four assailants detected.]

[ "Curse of Revenge" is activated.]

[ The Dark source will be used.]

[ The Light source will be used.]

[ The Lightning source will be used.]

[ The Air source will be used.]

Energy was borrowed from the " Dark sprout". The dark sprout started to shrink with the drain of its energy.

The assailant who used the hammer was instantly covered in dark energy. His whole body became black ink coloured. His shadow was starting to get eroded.

"Aaarghh", he started running as he screamed. The assailant's body was corroded with the dark energy. He started to bloat.

Energy was borrowed from the " Light sprout". The light sprout started to shrink with the drain of its energy.

One of the assailants was covered in eye blinding light. Light emerged from his eyes, mouth and ears. He couldn't scream. Many holes appeared all over his body with light flashing from them. His whole body started to seem as if it would crack. Light burst out from his skin.

Energy was borrowed from the " Lightning sprout". The lightning sprout started to shrink with the drain of its energy.

The assailant who used acid spray on Hala was suddenly hit by a Lightning strike. The clothes on him were torn. He was charred and burned. Lightning bolts continued to strike him. His body couldn't move anymore. His senses and the insides of his body are getting destroyed. "Aaaarrgghhhh", he cried amidst the lightning strikes.

Energy was borrowed from the " Air sapling". The air sprout started to shrink with the drain of its energy.

"What's happening?"The assailant who cut Hala's fingers was surrounded by fierce wind blows. As he involuntarily tried to move he was raised into the air with the speed of the wind. Razor sharp winds slashed at him. His clothes were torn apart. Small cuts formed all over his body. Blood started dripping from the cuts. He tried to run but he couldn't. The wind became faster. Razor winds cut deeper. Face, neck, stomach all over his body there were deep cuts, bones could be visible on his limbs and chest. "Aaargh... ", as he cried in pain razor winds cut his lips apart. His mouth was cut to the back of his jaws. Blood splashed all over with the wind.

Before all the assailants could resist the curse they all fell down lifelessly. Silence filled the place.
