As soon as she introduced herself some of the boys looked at her with lustful eyes including Itsuki and excluding Kuro. She noticed the lust in their eyes and let out a frown. After that she started speaking "The physics I will be teaching you are not the same as the physics that you've learned about before. It will use magic. For example gravity and motion, if you train well you will be able to do things like controlling gravity and how things move."
'I wonder how many things we'll be able to do using this magic.' Some of the students didn't look very impressed and Ms. Ito saw this. "If you want I can show you an example of what I can do. So would you like to see?" She asked the students. The students started looking somewhat excited but they tried not to show it. "Alright then" She said as she started moving her hands from down to up slowly. the students chairs and desks started shaking and then they lifted off the ground. Ms. Ito moved her hand to her head level and stopped moving them any further.
'I see. So she can control gravity. Gravity can be considered as one of the four fundamental forces. Although it is generally weaker, she can increase its strength.' The students looked like they were in shock because they thought that physics was going to be a boring waste of their time. Now they were looking forward to it. Some students kept a calm expression. Kuro was impressed but he didn't show much on the outside.
After 2 minutes of the students floating in the air and looking excited Ms. Ito began to lower her hands and as she did the students started going down slowly. After the students sat down back in their desks Ms. Ito looked exhausted. 'Keeping us in the air must've taken some energy. No wonder she's tired.'
The students started talking with each other about how amazing it was that she could make them float in the air. Ms. Ito stood behind the lecture table and started talking "I hope you all liked that and are excited to learn about more about physics." She said with a smile on her face. After a few more minutes class ended and all the students heard a voice in their head that said "It is time for lunch please head to the meal hall." 'Is this some sort of sound that sends vibration throughout the school and into our brains and then interpreted into words? I mean Mr. Sato did say that the magic in this world isn't completely fantasy so there must be some scientific explanation.'
Kuro was smart but he never used his smarts to stand out because he didn't want to deal with unnecessary things. After they all heard it in their head someone opened the door and walked in. Mr. Sato walked in and said "As your homeroom teacher I will show you all the way to the meal hall. But remember this is the only time so remember the way there." The students started getting up as Mr. Sato motioned for them to follow him. They followed Mr. Sato out the building and into one that looked huge.
Once they walked in they saw rows of food and students that seemed to be second and third-years. "Go to the back of that line and wait until you get to the rows of food." Said Mr. Sato as he pointed towards the end of the long line of students.
Mr. Sato then left the cafeteria. Some of the students started walking to the end of the line but some people including Kuro didn't. 'I'm not going to wait till I get my turn to eat. I'll go to some restaurant off campus.' Thought Kuro as he started to walk towards the exit. "Hey! Where are you going?" Said a girl that had pink hair and light pink eyes in an upset tone. "I'm going to go eat." Answered Kuro casually. "Where?" She asked. "Why do I have to tell you?" Kuro answered her question with a question.
"If you're going to eat somewhere without a big line then take me with you." She said. 'I don't want to take her with me but if I don't she'll just tell the teachers. Ugh fine I'll take her.' "Alright Fine" Replied Kuro in an annoyed tone.
