He cocked his head slightly, smugly. My fist clenched around the sword's end as I looked for all possible escape routes.
"The names Comet", I replied annoyed. "But your planet wouldn't know that with their lack of intelligence, right?"
"YOU!-", he lifted his sword as he got ready to strike.
I quickly shifted into a smaller creature, a fly. I easily flew between his legs and landed on his shoe, before shifting into a lion. Making him fall down as I towered over him.
I shifted back and straddled his hips as his men watched, stunned. Lifting my helmets visor so only he could see my smirk.
"You dare attack my people?" , I spoke coldly, letting my tail swish before pointing at the slight skin showing at his neck. Where his helmet ends and meets his chest armour.
I watched as he gulped, pulling my visor back down. Scanning the crowd of men, now all clenching their swords, shaking.
I was about to speak again before suddenly I was pinned to the floor by my target.
"Ack!" , I shouted as my helmet came in contact with the floor.
"And you DARE underestimate me?" , the man replied back with just as much coldness. He began to reach for my visor with his free hand.
My eyes widened at the move. I quickly thought of a fly once again and shifted. I flew between his legs and above the crowd.
There was too much smoke for any of them to see me. I noticed the group of hostages was smaller. Fear striked me at the thought of them going to Earthro.
I dove besides them as the men started arguing with each other trying to find me, no longer caring for my people. I shifted into a elephant once close enough to where none of them would get hurt and began lifting them onto my back with my trunk, too fast for them to make any noise.
My eyes locked on the vicious ones of the leader before I ran as fast as I could through the now only smoke barrier. Once I saw the den, the safe spot for the people, I began to lift the hostages with the abilities I knew, and threw them towards the house.
The first one has an ability that allows them to make stretchy elastic for certain time so they cushioned their landing.
My vision started to darken as I went longer without oxygen for this form to stay. Making me throw them faster. I stopped as I threw the last person towards the den and shifted back to my form, gasping for the empty air around me.
I heard the shuffling of armour and quickly looked up, turning in the process. Only to see in my horror that I was surrounded. The men now looked even more angry with how their knuckles were white with their tight grip on their drawn swords.
"Let's make a deal, Comet", the leader boomed as he walked in front of his men, "you come with us, and in return, we leave your planet alone."
"Crap," I thought. There was still no sign of backup. "They must be guarding the people in the safe house and the Queen..",
I sighed, "You think so highly of your planet, huh? Do you not know who you're talking to?" , I yelled out in anger.
The leader lifted his sword before stabbing it into the ground of my planet. He then reached for his helmet and slowly began removing it leaving me stunned and his comrads yelling at him.
Once removed fully he looked at the ground before I could see his face and tossed his helmet. He then slowly lifted his face for me to see him clearly.
He was stunning. He had a sharp jawline, dark hair that faded into a golden brown, sharp eyes, a few scars that only made him more attractive, and grey eyes that seemed to change color.
I lowered my sword at his appearance. It was strictly forbidden to show yourself willingly unless for peace. But his next words made me melt to my core.
"If it were my way my people would be allies with your planet, however, I am not the ruler. I know I will end up being killed for my behavior during this attempt of 'kidnapping', as my king would say, but I'll allow it.", he took a deep breath a he clenched his fists once again," I wouldn't dare hit or strike you unless in self defense. You brought a new meaning to our worlds due to your determination and power, making me want to befriend you more then torture you, let alone your people. So, come with us willingly, or they will use force.", he jerked his head towards his men.
Upon seconds of the gesture and saying that, all of his men glared at me with their abilities on full display as he grabbed his sword and helmet.
"I appreciate your offer, let alone your life in this attempt to court me to your planet, but my answer is no.", I quickly outstretched my hand that wasn't holding my sword, and focused all my attention towards what I wanted to summon as the men charged me.
Right before a man's flames came in contact with me a tornado began to rapidly take form. The men hollered in fear as it began to chase them, lighting striking every now and then.
I have full control over it's actions and made sure it wouldn't destroy my planet or go after the leader. I wasn't that soulless, however he had other plans as he charged at me when I wasn't paying attention.
He swooped me up over his shoulder before I could even shout in protest, causing me to drop my sword. That's when the Den's doors opened with the other guards rushing into battle with the other men.
"AGHHH!" , I screamed at the sudden pain in my side, somebody's ability got to me as the leader took off running with me still on his shoulder.
"Stop him!" , I heard the Queen shout at her guards who were now desperately trying to get to my aid.
My vision started to blur with unshed tears from the pain and gain dark spots.
"Ngh.." , I mumbled as I went limp, vision fully black with only distant screams and clashing of swords and abilities.
