Act: 53
*Yawn.*
He balled up the wrapping from his yakisoba bun and tossed it in the nearby trash can. Kneeling and nudging, he tried to wake the unconscious man. After a few more attempts, he realized that his consciousness was recovering.
"Yo. How's the slumber?"
"Ehh. Damn? What time is it? Oh, you're still here?"
"Stop playing dumb with me. Why didn't you kill me? You were quite capable of doing so; it was obvious to me that you were holding back, and with my last punch, you allowed yourself to get knocked out. Why is that?"
He was silent for a minute. Staring around, avoiding eye contact.
"You see... I was assigned to kill you, but. I think I shouldn't. Hear me out. It's that my father projected you as some villainous monster... Seeing you in the flesh, I have a gut feeling that's nothing like you. Or at least I think..?"
"Ignoring your father's orders? Killing me seems like it would be a serious mission. Couldn't that get you in deep trouble?"
"I can deal with that sometime later, whenever I return or if that ever happens, big bro."
Shizu's head shook, confused and with a puzzled expression.
"Big bro?! Is that what you called me?"
"Hm? What's wrong, bro? I look up to you, and you're important. You truly have the strength to be someone strong, yet my dad was saying you would have some other outside power that makes you even stronger. I can't sense anything of that sort, and don't I think you are a bad person? I can tell that for sure!"
Han Chul-Moo said proudly.
'Huh!? My brother? And what's this not being a bad guy?'
"If you don't mind, big bro, would you be okay with me following you around? Or wait, that may sound wrong; I meant, can we hang out? I'm quite intrigued by you now."
'That smile on his face... How badly did I knock him out, causing him to change sides?'
"Huh, that's fine with me. The other person who talks to me normally somehow finds a way to bash it in my face that I'm a two-star every day. Trust me, it gets annoying."
"Well, bro, I can take care of him if you'd want me to?"
"Nah, not worth our time. Why don't you go to the cafeteria, and I will trail behind you? After all, you were instructed to kill me a while ago, so I don't plan on dropping my guard yet. Although I will put some trust in you."
"Ok, ok, I understand, bro."
'Should I bother trusting him..?'
Han Chul-Moo was the first to leave the roof, though Shizu stood still, waiting for the door to close behind him. Once it did, Shizu looked behind him and pointed to a rooftop in the distance with his right hand.
"You will be the one I kill. Wait until I get strong enough. Watch all you want, but remember, when the time comes, as you'll be watching, I will be hunting you guys down one by one, and I will kill you all. Then lastly, your Master."
The masked man jumped from his post and hid around the corner. Faint panting comes from behind his mask.
"Shit, that kid is good. No wonder the Master sees something in him. Oh fuck yeah, I'm excited about the future. This is gonna get good."
Han Chul-Moo opened the door, peeking his head out.
"Hey, bro. I'm sorry to bother you, but there seems to be some conflict in the cafeteria. What would you normally do?"
"Hmm? Sorry for taking a brief moment. Did you also see that person watching us?"
"Who?"
"Nothing. We should head over there now and see what's the commotion."

"Takao. Stop this absurdity now. Put the student down, and let's figure this out."
"Shut the fuck up, Amamoto. All you need to do is bring me Shizu, and this will be resolved."
"I'm telling you to listen so we can get to him sooner. Please let go of her neck and take this one step at a time."
Amamoto thought to herself in this dire situation.
'God, what is taking them so long to get Hano or some teacher? I can't just fight him. However, should I take matters into my own hands... No, Hano wouldn't be happy if I did so...'
Takao scowled at her. Making sure she noticed his grip getting tighter and how they couldn't break free.
"Come on, student council. Too afraid of a clash with our Stars?"
"I can't upright fight you, Takao."
*Woosh*
"But I can!"
Shizu slid around the corner, sprung up, and kicked Takao in the head with his left leg, causing Takao to drop the girl. Immediately dashing from underneath was Han Chul-Moo, who grabbed her in that split second just in time to leap back to safety. Blocking his kick, Takao grinned, stretched out, and said his name. As his star prepared to activate, Shizu flipped back to gain distance and looked over to his left, noticing Taku and Oto coming from the opposite end and shouting.
"Kyde now! Activate the modified world!"
Kyde, who was alone, came from behind Amamoto. Acting quickly, he slammed his palm on the floor, activating his star.
"Star territory! Modified world!"
Kyde shouted.
A giant light blue star appeared on the floor, spreading over Shizu and Takao. It closed them inside a vast sphere, but Han Chul-Moo jumped in before completely closing them off.
"Was that the new kid?"
- - - -
-Inside the sphere ( Kyde's modified world )-
"Hahahahahahaha!"
"Shizu! It's me and you again, like last time. Now, I'm ready to settle the score, but first. Who the hell are you?"
With a smug tone to his voice, Takao raised one eyebrow when he glanced over at him.
"Me?"
Han Chul-Moo pointed to himself.
"Yes, you idiot."
"I am here to help my big bro? Who are you?"
"Be careful. His stats are all around. He has a close-range shield barrier, mid-range attacks and explosives, and long-range lasers. Worst of all, he can teleport."
"Mmm, I understand. Thank you, big bro, for the heads up."
"Ignoring me? Fine, I will kill you too, along with Shizu, right here and now."
Han Chul-Moo had a little but sad look on his face.
"I... I just told you who I was, though...?"
( All the outside students could see the inside and hear what was happening. )
Taku watched, wondering if Shizu would lose. Kyde remained focused on sealing them inside the world until the teachers or Hano arrived to solve the matter. Using his star territory to capture others rather than himself required him to focus immensely.
Slight shifts in star energy could affect the world's stability. Who knew what was taking them so long to show up?
The plain grassy field in the world began to shake a bit and rotate. So it began. Shizu blitzed his way to Takao, jumping up with his right fist for his face again. A barrier covered him, blocking the punch.
"Heh, star activate."
The white light glowed around his hand, and Shizu's body dissipated into a white mist. Behind him, anchoring for another punch, Takao turned to face him.
"Bow down-"
Han Chul-Moo slashed at his wide-open back. Takao stopped what he was doing to cover himself in another barrier, blocking the swing from his sword.
Raising his sword, he followed up with multiple slashes. Shizu adjusted and took the open opportunity to land his punch.
"OH, why can't I fight you one on one! I will kill you all!"
Takao's left and right hands covered himself in the barrier from Shizu's consecutive punches and Han Chul-Moo's constant slashes. The two pressuring his shield caused him to resort to another attack.
"Explode!"
The two hopped back from the close-up explosions. Coming out of the smoke, Takao sprinted to Shizu, reaching out his arm to shoot consecutive explosive blasts. Standing behind Takao, Han Chul-Moo grabbed his arm, pulling it away, and stomping on the ground, he flung his entire body in the opposite direction. The explosions launched away from them, and Shizu kicked his feet on the ground to stop himself from gliding back and dashed for Takao. As he leaped, floating in the air, he went for a spinning kick, which slammed into his gut. His body shot straight for the ground, although his portal had opened up.
*Woosh*
He disappeared.
"Keep a lookout!"
Shizu shouted.
Two hands emerged from behind Han Chul-Moo's head, hovering over his ears.
"Hey!"
Han Chul-Moo ducked down, grabbed both of Takao's arms and yanked him forward out of the portal while pulling him down. Shizu then ran up to him and uppercut him in the jaw. Takao's body bent back and fell backwards.
All the students who were watching cheered, although they couldn't be heard from the inside, and this left Taku shook.
A shift in Star energy was felt.
"Big bro, I think we should leave now. To save us the extra trouble."
"How?"
"Just follow me."
Han Chul-Moo ran away from Takao, and with a star appearing in the air, he pulled out a different sword from it. The sword started to glow a light orange, and with a slash down, he cut a way out from inside the modified word so they could escape. Han Chul-Moo was the first to dash out, and Shizu trailed behind him quickly. But he stopped and pulled another sword from a new star that appeared in his left hand. making a cross position with the blades around a man with glasses who was running their way, Shizu dashed past and was confused as to why he was blocking a person from possibly harming him. Han Chul-Moo leapt back, returning his swords and dashing away with Shizu seeing how he wasn't in danger.
Hano watched as they left, and a teacher arrived who used their Star to lock Takao in place. Then, the modified world disappeared.
"Shizu and the new kid are working together. Interesting."
