Terry stroked my knee his now flaced dick just limp on his leg. He slowed the racing car as if even his need for speed had been satisfied. He gave me a side long glance, and smirked.
"You'll be needing to fix that lipstick again, dear." He chuckled as I pulled down the vanity mirror to look at my now clown makeup. I sighed and got out my emergency repair kit every woman should keep in their bag, moist towelettes, a small bottle of Fondation, and of course whatever lipstick you started with. I could feel Terry's eye flicking to me as he finally tucked himself back into his pants almost reluctantly. Finally presentable I sat back trying not to brood over Mara eyes roaming the dark streets. I nearly screamed when at a light a man looked my way. It was Lucien dressed in a black hoodie and blue jeans. Suddenly a fight broke out between the two men standing near him. It was his doing, I knew it where ever he stepped conflict followed. He gave me a nasty grin, and blew me a kiss as the light turned green and Terry moved on. We pulled in front of one of the most exclusive and expensive restaurants in the state The Masions. I had never had the pleasure or frankly the money to have even been in the lounge, so I tried to cheer myself with the knowledge I was going to get to do something new. New things when you are millenia old is a bit of a novelty. I tried to pay extra special attention. Terry came around shooing back the valet to open my door himself. He slipped the college kid the keys, and a hundred dollar bill. He was obviously trying to show off. I pretended not to notice and walked rather stiffly beside him. He grabbed my hand nearly violently, and laid it on his arm. Men and women alike turned to stare at us as we walked in. Terry lead me to the bar and ordered me a Brandy Alexander. I raised an eyebrow at his choice, but didn't try to correct him. He gave me a quick peck on the cheek, and whispered. "I need to speak with an associate of mine wait here." He walked off not looking back as if he expected me to sit and stay like a well behaved dog. The drink came, and I eyed it with suspicion. I wasn't afraid he had drugged it or anything, but I am not a huge fan of super sweet alcohol. This was more dessert than cocktail with its crème de cacao and heavy cream. It is a heavy drink that is just not my thing. I sipped it trying not to wince. I finally gave up and ignored the drink. I watched the crowd trying to find Sloan in the slew high class people. I saw no one I knew. I turned back to the bartender he saw my dislike of his masterful concoction, and came over right away.
"Is there an issue with you drink?" He asked a bit briskly.
"I am not a fan of sweet drinks." I said simply not wanting to insult the poor guy I am sure he had mixed it expertly. He nodded and began mixing me a new drink. I watched him curiously trying to figure out what he was making. My rapt attention seemed to please him, because he smiled at me rather lewdly. I blushed I wasn't trying to seduce him, but I sometimes forget myself and it leeks out. He sat down before me a drink I had never seen before. It looked a bit like a martini but it wasn't I loved martinis I knew how to mix them myself. I took a careful sip then another. I nodded to him loving the bitter bite of ginger and gin. I was about to ask what he called it when a man leaned on the counter near me obviously wanting to speak to me. I looked up reluctantly I really didn't want Terry to cause a scene, and get us thrown out. The man had Hollywood good looks black hair, blue eyes, and a thousand dollar suit that made him look so good my mouth wanted to water. I glanced around nervously. I didn't see Terry anywhere so I raised an eyebrow at the stranger waiting. He took that as his cue to speak up, finally.
"Are you by chance Lilith?" He asked grinning at me like he could eat me up. I nodded not sure what else to do. He took my hand, and kissed it like some old fashioned noble. I refrained from rolling my eyes...barely.
"You could say we are in a similar business you and I." He said crypticly still giving me an unnerving smile.
"Oh, and what business would that be?" I asked becoming a bit nervous by the exchange. He leaned in and whispered "What you never met an incubus before?" I jerked away so violently the bartender started. He watched us eyes becoming concerned. I glanced around the room again then hissed.
"What are you doing here?" I tried not to glare, but I don't think I was very successful.
"My master wants a word with you. Now, like right now." He still smiled but it had become a touch unpleasant nearly a threat.
"I am a bit busy right now." I hissed back trying to control my frantically racing heart.
"You aren't even going to ask who my master is?" He chuckled at me eyes still cold as ice.
"Fine, I will bite who is it?" I grumbled becoming annoyed with this punk.
"Why Mr. Sloan of course." He purred.
