I hate hospitals, I think most people do, but probably not for the same reasons. I don't really have vitals, so I actually have to make my heartbeat, breathe, hell even my temperature I have to concentrate on. For the most part I have a shell that if damaged too much ships my ass back to hell as a safety measure. It really isn't for my well being, but so you poor saps can go on pretending that we are all just made up stories. Yes, there are true believers, and they can harm me a little, but as for actually wiping me out of existence only God himself can do that. God is unlikely to for the same reason Satan hasn't pushed the issue they need eachother. You can't have a cosmic good without a cosmic evil, that would be terribly boring. Another reason I hate hospitals, angels. The stupid good doers can spot me a mile away, and while they don't openly attack usually they make it clear they are watching me.
The angel in question this time was a male nurse. He wore the typical blue scrubs which I admit looked pretty damn good with his Latin dark skin, and dark hair. His eyes were a warm honey brown, so very safe and comforting. Well I suppose they would have been comforting directed at someone else. To me he had only barely contained hostility, and his judging eyes where not kind in the least. Once I was deemed stable, and had been patched up I was left alone with him.
"Demon, I would very much like to know what you are doing here." He whispered it sounded nearly like a snarl.
"Oh you know work related accident." I whispered back doing my best to play nonchalant.
"An accident as a stripper? What you fall on a..." He stopped himself and shook himself appalled by his own fowardness. I grinned not able to let that slide. Angels are usually so Holier than though I couldn't let it slide.
"More like a dick shot me than I fell on it, but really let's not split hairs." He stood very straight blushing furiously.
"You need to leave immediately." He said with passion.
"Oh I definitely agree, so get me out of here." If he could help I wasn't opposed to it, though working with angels' could get me into trouble, I would risk it. He hissed backing towards the door.
"If I aid you in anyway it could taint me." He looked a bit green even thinking about it.
"Well, I guess I better get settled in I will be here awhile." I sighed dramatically and closed my eyes.
"Fine. Just fine, but if you so much as breath a word of this I will break truce, and send you back wince you came." He whirled and stormed out of the room before I could even open my mouth to reply. Well that was easy I thought sinking back into the pillow. It wasn't though, it really wasn't going to be. I just didn't know it yet.
