Lysander and I put up the small tent near the waterfalls so that we could put our things inside, especially the towels and the thin blankets.

I didn't act like most of the delicate girls in my age would have done, sitting at the corner daintily as I examined my fingernails while the guy did the dirty job and waiting for him to finish.

I had believed in the equality between men and women and that they should do things together fair and square, both having responsibilities.

Lysander had ordered me to stay put and sit prettily on the side-lines, but I wasn't that type of girl.

Witnessing the French boy struggle a little bit with inserting the metal poles to make the tent fabric framed properly, I assisted him by lifting them upwards as he hammered the stakes to the ground.

"I told you to stay put, didn't I?" Lysander sighed with exaggeration as he patted the tent with his hand and shook them hard to test its durability.
