Lucas had convinced Ian to yield to David Harlow to ease the tension, but he had no idea that it would result in his son spending more time in Mina's office than his own. He still got work done, but most of it was rushed, or pushed onto Zane. It was not that Lucas did not want to see his son happy, but there were limits to everything, and when Ian returned from lunch with his fiancé, he told him how he felt.
"I know that she means a lot to you, but don't you think seeing each other daily will make the time after your wedding stale?"
"Did you get tired of seeing my mother?" Lucas smirked at his son who had one upped him. He had never gotten tired of his wife, in fact, he was almost certain that if they ever lost interest in one another, Sophia would be the one to initiate the split.
