When Mina was done playing, she immediately left the stage wanting to get as far away from everyone as possible, but she was stopped by a woman who looked to be in her mid to late forties. Mina did not want to be rude, but she was not in the mood for an entitled woman, rude comments or anything that had to do with furthering her humiliation.
Mina had been openly 'purchased' by President Lee and the notion made her feel uncomfortable and dirty. Thoughts of how badly she suffered during those three weeks of torment began to surface and Mina's eyes started to fill with water when the older woman reached out and grabbed her hand forcefully. She could barely make out the woman's face behind her tears.
"Don't let them see you cry," the woman said. The words helped to snap Mina out of her near breakdown, but she still fled the area and found a secluded room where she could calm her nerves.
