Mina was still pulling Luna's hair when President Lee walked into the room, and out of the room as quickly. The two girls looked at each other in confusion. After assessing their posture, they laughed uncontrollably. They both realized how the scene must have looked to the man.
"Let me go and explain the situation to Ian before he tells our parents," Luna said, and Mina let her go. Before Luna left, she turned to Mina and spoke.
"Do you think we can be friends?"
"Aren't we already?" Mina replied. Mina was not a picky person when it came to friendships. If you respected her, she would respect you.
"Also, I'm sorry about Lisa. I'll talk to her about it, and in the future, I won't force you two to interact," Luna promised. Mina felt the need to clarify herself.
"For the record, I don't hate Lisa. She has every reason to dislike me, but I cannot accept everything she does," Mina said.
"Thank you for telling me," Luna responded. "Now let me find Ian before he causes another mess."
