Chapter 74 - Chapter 74: Amarok The Foolish Beast

As Godo flew out of the walls of the city, he went to the Izhia Forest.

The Izhia Forest is a forest that extends throughout the Human Kingdom in one direction or another. So wherever you are, there will probably be a road or pathway leading to it.

Another thing to note is that the Human Kingdom does not fully occupy the territory of the humans. There are many places in the territory where no human life exists. So it's quite big, and also a bit empty sometimes.

So Godo started to fly above the outskirts and above the inner zones of the forest.

"Let's go to the deepest part of the forest. Maybe I'll find something interesting."

As he mumbled to himself, he accelerated then started to fly towards what he thought was the centre.

After around 10 minutes of flying. He felt he was in the centre. As the purity, density, amount and types of mana that existed became larger and larger as he went deeper and deeper, he could feel that the place he was currently hovering above was the centre of it all.

"Let's descend."

He slowly started to descend, making as little noise as possible. After stepping on the ground, he used 'Pin Point Locator', and began to search around the vicinity.

From his observations. He knew that the creatures inside this Zone, had already recognised the human that descended from the sky. But they didn't do anything, as they felt he was not a simple character.

"They seem to have some form of intellect. So they are not all talk."

As he was not disturbed by anything per say. He just started to look around the place. The place he landed in was just beside a lake. The moonlight shone gracefully under the surface of water, and Godo felt at ease just watching it.

He knew that there were some beast inside the bushes and behind the trees, but as no one did anything, he just sat there. Then an hour passed. It should be around 10 in the night.

Looking as if it had got tired of the shit the human was pulling, a wolf, a BIG WOLF, walked out of the bush that was a few meters away from Godo's left side.

"Human, what are you doing here. Are you here to hunt?" the wolf spoke with pride.

"Ah, no. I'm just here to stay, I'll leave later without doing anything."

Godo said as he didn't really want to kill or fight right now.

The wolf, seeing that this old human, even though in the face of an Amarok like him, was neither wavering nor scared nor dead. He felt that he should forget about hunting him.

"You want to hunt me? Or do you want to evaluate me or something?"

The wolf then, just realised that he could just say he wanted to test him, and if need be, 'accidentally' kill him.

"I'm here to test you human elder." the wolf scoffed pridefully.

"Then please wait for a minute."

As he said that, Godo slowly got up, then stretched a bit, then did some jumping and started to slowly stop. Seeing that the old man was starting to calm down, the Amarok started to move away. As it got ready to battle. With a dangerous gleam in his eyes, Godo proclaimed coldly,

"Come, foolish beast. See how helpless you'll get."

The remark, made the Amarok angry.

'Oh foolish beast? I'll show you who's the foolish one human!!'

As it gritted its teeth, heavied its eyes and tensed its body. It flashed under the moonlight, then flew towards Godo like an eagle hunting its food. As it fixated its eyes on Godo,

(Bhooom)

The Amarok was confused. It had absolute confidence in its strength and speed, so much so that it claimed itself to be one of the top on the food chain. Everyone and everything it had hunted so far, was done so easily. So how?

How was this elderly human, holding him up on his not so aerodynamic face, seemingly with no effort. As thoughts ran through the Amarok's mind. A cold voice rang through its ears.

"Open your eyes and abandon your pride, look closely you foolish beasts."

Just then. Godo took the wolf out of the ground.

(fwoosh)

The wolf tried to speak, but it didn't know all this was happening faster than it was feeling.

"Impact Fall: Force"

(BOOOOM!!)

Birds flew away, and creatures became aware. The battle was over in just a blink of an eye. The Amarok was crushed to the ground, dead. Godo took out his hand, then took a hankerchief from his pocket and started to clean his hand.

"Dead, just like that. I really didn't want to do this right now. I hope you guys are not so foolish like this one."

Then it started to become peaceful again. Godo sat and started humming a tune. As he peacefully sat, he made a boat out of nowhere, then started to float on the lake.

He made some sweet cookies and started to eat them,

"If only i could bring them here with me. The density in here would probably make them feel troubled rather than calm."

(munch)

Then he went silent.

"Well, I'll bring them when they become stronger."

An entity was sitting on a chair, surrounded by greens and colourful nature. As he sipped on his tea, he spoke,

"The rainbow coloured light. The one i termed 'Seven Essence'. It gives the one who holds it authority over Life, Death, Order, Chaos, Reality, Time and Space. Sure there are some other powers that it gives, but these are the major ones.

Yu, a being of good nor evil. One who hasn't felt what other civilizations have felt, one who has felt hardships but not cruelty, sadness but not misery. Maybe he'll be able to use it for the better."

"Look at this honey! I can accelerate the growth of our crops!"

"Wow! Now we don't have to worry about sudden storms or other disasters. But, does it feel uncomfortable? Are you okay when you do it?"

"No need to worry. I am perfectly fine." Yu smiled.

Seems like its still really calm around here.

A 'few' quintillion kilometres away. A war was being fought. It was long and gruelling, and always taxing for the 2 kingdoms.

"It's really surprising how peaceful Yu's planet is. An anomaly you might say."
