Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: Nene's Explanation

"Well a normal spirit is" the spirit continued to explain.

"A spirit which has yet to have chosen a specific element to master. You see, there are many different spirits like the elemental spirits, the normal spirit such as myself, the light and dark spirits and some other individual spirits.

We don't categorize light and dark spirits as elemental spirits because it is much much harder than the other elementals to master. Also, the way they work is different.

When a spirit is born, it first becomes a normal spirit. Then after attaining the basic understanding of every magic types, they can choose to either become a magical spirit, or an individual spirit."

"Oh so you mean you are still a kid in the spirit kingdom?"

"Well that's basically it."

"So what's so good about being an elemental spirit and light and dark spirit, or even and individual spirit?"

"When a normal spirit chooses to take up a specific element to master, they will get some kind of blessing in that element like, a huge library of knowledge or an artifact to help the spirit increase their proficiency..

An individual spirit is just a spirit that chose to master something other than the main magic types, like swords, spears, cleaning and some other things. They can choose to master anything that the gods allow."

'The gods? Now that came out of nowhere.' Godo thought silently.

"That's a really interesting piece

of knowledge. So what type of spirit do you want to become?"

"I haven't decided yet. The main reason i went out here was to look around the world and choose which kind of spirit i want to become. So you better help me okay?" Nene said, while smiling.

"Seems like you were a good kid back in your home, you sound like you are well versed about it." Godo praised Nene.

"Ehehe, i wouldn't say i was really good, i just had a great time studying." she replied back with a sudden change in behaviour while blushing a little.

Then they started to laugh.

After they finished laughing, Godo told Nene.

"Well, I'm going to do some more exercise again. So you can just go away now if you want to."

"No, I'll stay. I want to see how you train."

"Well ok."

Saying this, Godo went back and started to move his feet. He was first warming his legs up. After he finished this, he started doing push ups, first with his hands, then 4 fingers, then 2 fingers and finally with only a finger on one side.

After he finished doing that, he then started to run around. At first he looked like he was jogging. He slowly started to move faster-from running to sprinting and so on and on, until he couldn't even be seen and only a black afterimage could be seen which also were disappearing with a blink of an eye.

He then took out a stick and started to perform swordplay with it. He also started off slow and weak, then gradually upped it. After that, he started to perform while moving around.

After he finished this too, he started to dodge around, and swing at the same time.

All this time Nene was watching.

She was amazed and surprised but also felt happy.

"Wow!! Sir Godo you are so fast and strong! Even though you look old, you are still so quick! I am really happy you were the people who found me. I am sure we will have no hard times travelling with you."

"Well thanks for your compliment."

"So Sir Godo, can you show me your own swordsmanship? I heard you created your own." the spirit asked with enthusiasm.

When he heard this, he stood there for a while and thought to himself.

"No harm in showing you." saying this, he first went to some bushes that were present in the backyard, and took out the wooden sword he had in his little rift opened in the air.

After he came back, she saw Godo had a sword now, she didn't think much about it because of the enthusiasm she had to see his swordsmanship.

Like everyday, he first did some footwork-moved around the place and things like that. After he finished this, he quickly thought about which kind of swordplay he would show her. As the 'Creator's Blades' was just a pile of swordsman knowledge.

He decided to do one of the basic ones and then suddenly change into one of the harder ones to master.

So he did just that. Nene was not that surprised in the beginning, but she looked happy. Then Godo suddenly shifted his movements and started to perform moves which were considered hard even for a strong swordsman.

Nene was delighted when she saw this. After Godo finished his little display of 'Creator's Blades', Nene told Godo.

"Sir Godo, you should write a book for your sword style."

"Eh."

"I mean you are teaching Shuya your sword style right? And i can create some paper with my magic so it would be possible to do it. And it could also be a valuable book of information for others who will learn this style in the future."

Godo stood there silently, his facial expression didn't change. But he was thinking deeply. He knew what could happen if he wrote this book, he had read everything in The Realm of Knowledge.

He knew if it got lost and drifted to a person with an evil heart, it would not be good. But he also knew if it got popular, it would be hailed as a treasure, and Shuya would be the first known user.

Which would also help Shuya in difficult situations and in times of need if it got popular. But he was still thinking.

After a few more seconds, he spoke

"Well if you can create and endless amount of paper, i wouldn't mind."

"Of course Sir Godo, don't worry about me. I'm just happy to be useful."
