Chapter 23 - Chapter 23: Before The Universe

At the same time, at Folaei and Rai's room.

"So what do you think of Godo, Rai? Do you think that was him going easy or going serious."

"Well, i don't really know but i think he was being quite serious as 'Supreme Lightining Strike' is a Level 6. Also, the amount of magic power he was emitting was quite a large sum too."

"You're right, maybe i was just over thinking but he didn't look quite serious to me. But well, your reasoning is better than mine so let's just go with that."

As Godo was making some new skills, he suddenly thought about his memories before he created the universe.

Before anything even existed, there was one person who was there. In the midst of nothingness, he was floating away in a direction who knows where.

"It has been so long since i first attained a state of singularity. And here, there is no one except me. What am i supposed to do? All these time i have been searching for someone like me in this vast space of darkness. I don't even know what and who i am? It's getting so lonely, i wish someone like me would appear before me. How many times have i became discouraged and needed myself to be encouraged. I feel like going crazy."

These were the thoughts of a being who was floating away in the darkness. As he was all alone and no one was there, he felt lonelier and lonelier until one time, he couldn't stop himself and started to sob and complain.

"Why, why? It has been soo long. No one not even one thing. What has this place have to offer me? Why did i even attained this state. I didn't want this. Who and what did i ever do?"

"I really wish i could create something, at least one thing."

As he said these words, his body started glowing a faint light and *poof*. There sat down a bear, a teddy bear. It was brown and had a red bowtie. When the being lifted his head, he couldn't help but cry as he saw the teddy bear. After many and many hours of crying, he steeled himself and took up the bear and hugged it, muttering,

"Thank you."

As Godo thought of this memory again, he smiled and said,

"I have come a long way, from loneliness to having friends."

Shuya heard what he said and felt sad for him.

"So Mr.Godo, you were all alone? You look so old, good job getting through all of those hardships you would have to go through."

"You- you rascal, trying to get me emotional. But thanks. That was the first time ever someone told me 'good job'... Now let us go down, it should be time for dinner."

As Godo said these, Shuya blushed a bit a scratched the back of his head. Nonetheless he got up and stretched his hands to Godo and said,

"Well then, let's get going."
