It was already 8pm, Lilly packed all her things and was about to leave. Her heart skipped a beat as soon as she heard a loud honk thinking if it was Jordan who came to pick her up. Slowly she peeped through the window to see Nick sitting in his car and smiling ear to ear. She chuckled and walked towards his direction.
Seeing her walking towards his direction he soon got off the car, sprinted around and opened the passenger seat door like a gentleman.
"So where do you wanna go Ms.Lilly?" Nick asked as he started driving.
"I don't have any particular place in mind but I'd prefer the one with less people around" She said while rubbing her temples.
Observing her actions with the corner of his eyes he spoke "Are you having a headache?"
She hummed in response and leaned her head back. "Don't worry! I'll be your medicine tonight and will cure it before you go back home" he said while winking which made her to giggle in response.
They both went to a fancy place and had some drinks. Though Lilly thought going out with him would be all cliche and awkward, it went fine, she enjoyed his company. They chatted and laughed together all long. Nick was true though he really did cure her headache by his humorous comebacks.
"So what is your favorite thing to do at free time?" Nick asked.
"Uhm? Sleeping?" She blurted while sipping.
"Wow! Me too, sometimes we should do it togethe- Ah- n-nevermind" He pouted as soon as he felt Lilly's glare on him.
He rested his chin in his palms and admired her for a few seconds "Maybe if I had a mother she would have been just like you. Beautiful and strict"
Lilly hesitantly let out a sad smile not knowing how to comfort him about it. She became attentive when he held her hands with a smile.
"Will you be my mommy?" she choked on her saliva and started coughing.
"Here, drink some water" Nick tried to help her.
She gulped down the water and cleared her throat. *Does he even realise what he just said? If yes then how the hell can he say such pervert things with such an innocent look on his face? or Am I the one with a dirty mind?* Her thoughts were cut off by a ping on her phone. Her phone screen lit up, showing many missed calls from Jordan but she completely ignored them.
Soon the news on the TV caught her attention.
"A dead body of a man has been found in a sewage cannel near 7th street, Marol which is just a few streets away from the famous Dean's co-operation. Police declared it as a brutal murder, also informed that the futher investigation will go on and will soon find the identity of the man since the victim's face couldn't be identified due to merciless acts performed by the murderer"
Lilly's palms started to sweat by hearing the news *How could something like that happen in a very calm and descent area like that?* she thought.
"Do you want one more drink?" Nick asked while seeing her lost.
"No I'm full, ok then I'll leave" she said after placing her empty glass on the table.
"What? Too early?" He questioned.
"Its already ten Nick, I need to go home" she said and picked up her bag.
"Ok then I'll drop you off" He offered.
Lilly now lives in Jordan's house and she didn't want Nick to know about it so she refused his offer. But Nick was fast enough to grab her bag and walk to his car. He wouldn't listen to her so she just hopped in.

"Yeah stop here" She made him to stop infront of Honey Jersey's house, just to be on the safer side. Before she could get down he held her hands by taking her off guard due to the sudden contact. He deeply stared into her eyes with a genuine smile "Thanks for today, I enjoyed your company and I hope this will be more regular from now on"
She smiled back at him "Me too" and got off the car. She never answered his last words and bid him a goodbye which definitely made him off.
Making sure that Nick left Lilly slowly walked towards Jordan's house since Honey wasn't back from work yet!
Lilly sneaked into the house trying not to make any noise. All the lights were off also for her luck she couldn't find david anywhere. She sighed in relief, took the stairs and reached her room. As she was just about to open the door, the other door opened with a click sound. Lilly froze in her spot not wanting to face Jordan. He would definitely be angry about her not picking up his calls and coming back home late. She cursed under breathe out of frustration.
"What took you so long? Where were you?" He seriously interrogated her.
"I had work!" She blurted while not even looking at him.
"Were you that busy to even pick my calls?" He indeed sounded angry but she remained silent, caring less.
"And who is HE?" He demanded taking a few steps forward.
Lilly finally looked at Jordan with her eyes wide open out of shock thinking how would he know about Nick. But she soon glared at him remembering the incident in the afternoon.
"Why do you care?" She walked into her room and shut the door on his face.

A few days passed and Lilly ignored Jordan for all these days, while Jordan tried to make attempts to talk to her but miserably failed. They would just greet eachother in the office. Lilly got even more close to her new friends and had less worries as there was no one to bother her including Tony, she never had an encounter with him again. Sometimes the feeling about Jordan bothered her but she didn't mind to shrug it off.
It was a weekend and nobody was home. She sat on the couch, making herself comfortable and was trying to find a good movie to watch so she was changing the channels but suddenly stopped.
BREAKING NEWS: The body that was found a week ago in the sewage canal, now has been idenfied as Tony Anderson, an employee from Dean's co-operation.
*GASP*
