"Hands up! Quit playing innocent anymore Ms.Lilly Jersey"
She slowly raised her hands in defeat while honey was froze in her place .
Lilly swiftly turned around, kicked the other person's knee and knocked her down. Instantly grabbing the gun from the other hand and pointing it back towards the girl who was now lying on the floor with a bewildered look on her as if she was still in the process of figuring out what just happened.
Honey snorted and started laughing at the seen infront of her. Lilly kept the gun aside with light giggle and offered her hand to the other girl "Long time no see officer Kunny Jones"
Kunny accepted her hand and got up "Damn you got some skills! Honey told me to prank you a little bit but ouch! Now my knee hurts" Kunny held her knee and started to pretend as if she was unable to walk properly.
"I'm unpunkable" Lilly declared with a smirk on her lips.
"Then why did you kick her when you already knew it was our officer kunny" Honey tried control her laughter while kunny glared at her for the idea.
"I just wanted to check her defense skills" Lilly eyed kunny's gun for a second and handed it back. "Its been just a few months since I've been a police officer but soon I'll be a pro" She wiggled her brows at Lilly.
"Oh my god, its been a long time since we all met, I'll go get us some cookies and drinks" Honey walked inside. Kunny nodded at Honey in agreement and took a seat beside Lilly. "How are you? How's everything going on?" Lilly enquired her friend.
"Uff I'm already fed up! Soo many cases to handle, its too much to take in and how about you? I heard you are working at Dean's co-operation? Looks like you're taking things too fast huh ?" She playfully teased Lilly at the end of her sentence.
"Yeah whatever" Lilly randomly blurted out whild totally ignoring her friend's teasing. Shortly Honey came with the drinks and joined her friends.
Lilly rested her hands on table and moved a bit forward out of interest "You probably know about the recent case near Dean's co-operation right?"
"Yeah! Fortunately I'm the one who is incharge of that case" Kunny informed.
"Really? Did you get any clues about it?" Honey questioned out of curiosity.
"There are no clues yet! Tony's belongings and his credit cards were untouched but the only thing is that his phone is missing!"
"What about the postmotem and autopsy report?" Lilly curiosly asked with her brows forrowed.
In response Kunny pursed her lips with a hint of dissapointment "Talking about that, the report shows that Tony was choked to death so we tried to find some DNA in his nails if incase he defensed but there was no DNA on his body, not even a single strand!"
"That's impossible!" Honey gasped.
"There's no doubt the killer is a very professional one" Lilly said with a scowl on her face.
Hearing her words kunny smirked "No matter how professional the killer is! There'll always be one or the other mistake done without their knowledge, we just need to find it at the right circumstance"

Lilly was asusual busy working at the company with her colleagues .
"Oh my god! I'm so hungry" Grace exclaimed while rubbing her tummy. "How about we go to a restaurant for lunch?" Alex suggested while eagerly waiting for everyone to agree.
"I'm in!" John declared.
"Me too!" Sarah joined while Grace was busy dreaming about fancy lunch she was drooling for. "What about you Lilly?" Alex asked, seeing her busy working on the laptop.
"I'll join too, I'm craving for some lobster anyway" Lilly stated as she turned towards her friends with light smile. "Speaking about lobster, do you wanna know why lobsters don't share?" John started.
It was everybody's turn to roll their eyes at him. Alex facepalmed himself while sarah glared at John " Not again John!" Sarah warned him but he completely ignored it while sheepishly smiling at Lilly on the other side Grace was trying so hard not to laugh.
Lilly raised her brows out of confusion "yeah? Why don't they share?"
John snorted out loud "Because they are SHELLFISH!"
(There was a moment of silence)
Lilly was like *Excuse me?*. Grace laughed the heck out while holding her stomach while Alex and Sarah had a blank face staring at John for his lame joke. Seeing her friend's reaction Lilly shook her head, patted John's shoulder "Good try" she said and chuckled.
Before she could go back to her work Mr.Kim walked to her desk. "Ms.Lilly, Mr.Jordan wants to see you in his office" Lilly nodded and walked towards Jordan's office while Mr.Kim followed her.
She stepped into his office with a knock. "Mr.Jordan? You called me?" She asked, stepping towards his desk.
Hearing her voice, Jordan raised his head from his file, shortly his gaze automatically shifted onto the person behind her "Mr.Kim, you may leave now" Mr.Kim nodded and walked out, not forgetting to steal a last glance at Lilly.
Jordan dropped his pen on the desk, startling Lilly and stood up. "Looks like you are enjoying alot with your new peers. Aren't you?" The CEO asked as he walked across his desk.
"Yes Mr.Jordan, they are very kind and helpful" Lilly spoke with a smile not knowing the intentions behind his question.
"Everybody here must work instead of having fun and you are no exception for it Ms.Lilly!" Jordan arrogantly stated with his stern face.
Now Lilly got the idea of his intentions.They just joked around for two minutes and here she is! Getting blammed for it. *Is he a bipolar or what? Acting once cold and the other time too nice! Jerk!* she thought while rolling her eyes at his attitude.
"Why Mr.Jordan? Are you worried that i'm not working or are you worried about me getting close to other guys?" She smirked.
"I'm not jealous!"
"And I never said you were!" Lilly raised her shoulders a little while she uttering the obvious.
Jordan huffed in annoyance "Now stop your smart mouth if you don't want me to shift you here into my office!"
Lilly was pissed about his godamn dictatorship. Taking this as a chance she blurted out "What? The person I love clearly doesn't love me back so I'm trying to find someone who lov-" her words were cut off byJordan pinning her to the wall. He was fuming with anger which she stopped her from speaking further, instead she gulped at the proximity between their bodies. He placed his hand against the wall beside her head and got dangerously close to her face.
"Don't you even DARE" He growled at her.
It sent a shiver down her spine but she didn't let it further affect her because she had enough already. She was done with his possesive behavior when he didn't even confess to her in the first place. She stared back at him "So? Do you love me then?" She cocked her head slightly to one side, expecting him to answer.
He was taken back by her sudden question.There were no words in his mouth to spit.
Lilly smirked "Why? Cat got your tongue huh?" Jordan remained silent.
"You can rule me all you want BUT only after you find your answers for that question Mr.Jordan, I guess I'll leave now" Lilly gave an innocent smile at the end and pushed him aside to walk away.
Seeing Jordan's silence she felt proud that she had pushed the right buttons. She pulled a playfull smirk again "Johhhhhhhhnnnn wait I'll join for lunch tooo" She purposefully dragged his name so that Jordan could hear her.
Eventhough Jordan was lost in his thoughts he still could hear her. It was a pure torture for him to hear other guy's name rolling out of her tongue. As much as he wanted to answer Lilly's question he couldn't, its not like he didn't had any answers for it but it was just that something inside him was stopping him from doing it.
