"Thank you." He told me after we heard the tower doors closing. "You did not have to save me, Liam."
My eyes widen because the dragon knew my name. I turned my head and noticed some of the gashes.
"You should take care of your wounds, some look terrible." I looked away as I spoke due to the pain I was in.
"Without being headless, I can survive these wounds. You, on the other hand, look pale and there is a lot of blood. Please let me take care of you." I nodded my head at his words. "Could you apply pressure while I change into better shape?"
I was confused by what he said but I followed his orders. Then I felt his whole body shake as it shrunk down and became softer.
"Dorian!" I was surprised as I looked at the now mostly human face. "You were the dragon this whole time."
"I guess I was more injured than I thought if I can't turn fully human."
