Calibri rotated his shoulders with a slight wince. Xavier was definitely not going easy on him.
"You need to pass your power down to your legs too. Come on. Get up." He said. Calibri nodded and pushed off the tree, only to tip over.
"Ah!" He yelped, falling forward. Xavier sighed. His patience was thinner than normal after Alexei's stunt today.
"Your majesty, up. We're wasting time."
Calibri nodded. "Yes, yes… But… I have no feeling in my legs."
Running a hand through his hair, Xavier exhaled to calm himself down. They'd made more than enough progress, and in a little more than an hour twilight would come, but he insisted that they kept going. Calibri seemed ready to pass out, but he wanted to progress as much as he possibly could before the excursion.
The chances were that he would receive more than a few scratches on the excursion, and he didn't want to risk lashing out.
