Haochen entered the dormitory and was instantly met with the crisp sounds of crunching. With the intention of going straight to his room to pace his troubles away out of view from prying eyes, he had gone back to the dorm.
However, it seemed Xavier was back before him and was steadily munching on a carrot. "Haochen."
"Xavier." Haochen greeted.
"Are you okay?" Xavier raised a questioning brow. Haochen still had a calm expression on his face, so he nodded.
"Are you sure?" Xavier pushed.
"Yes, I am." Haochen said politely. With a hum of disapproval, Xavier tossed his carrot into the waste bin and hopped off the kitchen island.
"It's just, you seemed quite upset earlier."
Haochen ran a hand through his hair. "No... I had something on my mind, that's all."
"Care to share?" Xavier asked, crossing his arms as he leaned against the island.
