"What do you mean by that statement?" Alexei asked, very alarmed.
"Hmm..." Pearl paused. "Is complicated situation. But it is okay. I will protect Calibri. You don't worry." Pearl said.
Alexei and Calibri looked at each other. Wearily, Calibri glanced at Pearl. "Protect me from what?"
"I can't say now." Pearl said.
"Why not?" Calibri asked.
"Your sect will take you away."
Alexei pursed his lips. "So indeed, something dangerous is going on." Alexei said.
Pearl rolled the eyeball then nodded. "But I have it under control for now." He said. "You just make sure to call me. Don't go without me to any place."
Alexei and Calibri both glanced at the eyeball as they listened.
Calibri cleared his throat. "Then... Does this mean on Monday, you will be coming with me?"
"To the little clan? Yes." Pearl said.
"How do you even know about that?"
