"Why?" Cloud asked. Calibri made a face and clicked his fingers in front of Cloud's face. "Come on, I know you have a big brain in there. If we tell them I will be the Grandmaster, they will try to sacrifice me at all costs. Then, they will think to keep you alive to check if the problem is over after they have summoned their demon, and they will keep Hachi alive either way because they want him as the Grandmaster."
Haochen raised his hand to speak. "But what if we tell them it's someone else entirely. Then they would go after that person, and leave us all alone, right?"
Alexei shook his head. "They still need sacrifices, and because his Majesty is King Trinity's son, they would most definitely want to alleviate him as a possible threat."
