Pearl quickly jumped towards Calibri, slapping his hand over the oblivious prince's lips. He glanced at the door in a conspirative way then back at the violet eyes.
"I speak Arigon now."
Calibri blinked.
"Yes, I did not know you spoke so well." Calibri said, removing Pearl's hand. The young demon sighed. "I don't."
This boy really didn't know. Pearl glanced at the door. If Calibri didn't know, then he wasn't sure if the distressed boy was unaware too, but it was possible that he did. After all, the man beyond the door was in cohorts with the rest of Verbatium, who probably wanted to protect Calibri from being hurt by the truth.
It wouldn't do well for them to realize that Calibri was discovering things.
Although... Pearl looked at the innocent boy. It seemed he had no clue what he'd just discovered. Making a conscious decision, Pearl decided that he would only speak demon tongue when they were both alone.
