Alexei and Siegon caught him before he hit the ground.
"Tea, what happened to him?" Siegon asked.
"Shock. He has to be in shock." She said, quickly crouching next to them on the ground. "What was that? Who was that?" She asked, loosening the robes and the collar around his neck. Alexei and Siegon fanned him.
"It looked like his majesty, but how?" Alexei asked.
"A shapeshifter?" Siegon asked.
"Perhaps. What do we do? Whose eyeball was that?" Tea looked at them with confusion.
"It was violet. It had to be from a Verbatian." Alexei said.
Siegon looked at them fearfully. "Do you think it came from the others?"
"No, his majesty heard the sound and ran in that direction immediately. If he was following the sound without stopping at all to turn back, that being could not have moved towards the others. Otherwise he would have stopped to figure out where it was headed and followed it back immediately." Alexei said.
