"What was that???" Alexei practically shouted, grabbing Calibri and looking over him. The others rushed forward and began to do the same, looking extremely concerned.
"So we all saw it? Yes? It was a black blob of some sort of watery-looking substance." Kreia said, crouching and checking Calibri's legs. "Where did it go?"
Calibri who didn't even see what it was looked at them with a worried expression.
"Blob?" He asked.
Siegon who was turning his face and inspecting his skin nodded with knitted brows.
"I've never seen anything like it before." He said, starting to pull off Calibri's headpiece to see if the blob was hiding in his hair. He tousled Calibri's usually very immaculately straight hair.
"And it looked extremely slimy and wet." Rion said, lifting up Calibri's leg and pulling off his boot and sock, then moving to the other.
"I didn't hear anything make a wet sound." Calibri said as they began to take off his clothes.
"It was wet your majesty, and ridiculously quick. But where did it go? Is it still on you? Can you feel it? Did you feel something go into your body?" Alexei asked. "Someone check his undergarments." He said, pulling off Calibri's robes.
"I didn't feel anything…" Calibri said.
"Well, whatever it was your majesty, it was on you. What if someone placed a curse on you?" Tea said.
"WAIT. WAIT. Let's check his majesty in the dormitory. What if it is hiding underneath his forearm covers?" Flora asked.
Kreia gasped.
"What if it's some sort of spying creature?" She asked.
The others looked at each other horrified.
"Let us go to his majesties room and do a full inspection. What if it went into his body? What if it was a demon? It didn't look like a part of the Living Realm." Siegon said.
Calibri who was stripped down only his forearm coverings, looked at them curiously as they clutched onto his clothing and jewelry. "I can teleport us there, if you are comfortable with trusting my cultivation? Although, I have never attempted this before, and I do not know the repercussions..."
They all nodded immediately, glancing around and noting that not a single soul could see them.
Calibri performed the teleportation spell and a large golden circle appeared below them.
Suddenly, they were all inside Calibri's dormitory, in the living area next to the kitchen, and Haochen was standing in the kitchen, irritatedly holding the pouch Calibri had given him months ago out of Cloud's reach.
Cloud, for some reason, was trying to snatch the pouch away from Haochen. Haochen was wearing a white, floor-length toweling bathrobe. His long, silky black hair was slightly wet and tied up into a messy bun. Cloud on the other hand also wore a similar robe and his long, red hair was open and sopping wet, dripping water everywhere. In one hand he was holding a ladling spoon and the other hand was in the air, trying to grab the little pouch.
When the group landed, they were extremely disorientated, slowing down their reaction times. In that short time, Cloud had already turned his emerald eyes towards an unknowing Calibri standing there in absolutely nothing but his forearm coverings.
"Oh my God. He's beautiful." He said, dropping his ladle along with his jaw.
Haochen's head snapped in the direction that Cloud was looking with his wide eyes and his own eyes almost bulged out of his sockets.
Calibri was most definitely male.
"Wow... That delicate porcelain skin. Those toned arms. Those defined abdominal muscles. So defined yet so soft looking. Not overdone, not underdone. Perfection. That V-line. Those hip dips. And… Oh-" Cloud started, and paused when he came to a certain well-endowed part.
Haochen threw the dishcloth on the kitchen island in Cloud's face.
"Stop looking at it!" He snapped and ran over to cover up the dizzy prince who was in some sort of inebriated state. Calibri had never actually performed group teleportation before, he wasn't aware of the kickbacks and he smiled happily at Haochen, waving as if he'd drunk several bottles of alcohol.
Haochen grabbed the robe out of Alexei's hands and quickly wrapped it around Calibri. In the meantime, Cloud had already sunk to the floor. "My eyes have been blessed with something sacred. Never have I ever seen something so-"
"Cloud, shut up!" Haochen said, trying to tie the robes without looking down.
"You saw it too! Have you ever seen anything so wond-"
"Cloud, I swear, if you don't stop talking-"
"And the hair around his-!"
Haochen snapped his fingers and the ladle on the floor flew up and smacked Cloud across the face.
"Oof-!!!"
Alexei who had begun to shake off his daze looked around and then at Cloud who was on the floor in a heap, cradling a spoon.
"Ah! Your majesty!" Alexei squeaked seeing very clearly through his robes that Calibri had no underwear on.
"Who has his undergarments?" He asked, spinning on the others who were in some sort of sleepy trance. Nobody answered, and Tea fell over, sound asleep.
"So well endowed-" Cloud started again with twinkling eyes and Haochen clicked his fingers again, so the ladle smacked him a second time across his face, then he grabbed Calibri's hand and pulled him along to the bedroom. He was concerned.
"Calibri, what happened, why are you naked?" Haochen asked, opening the door leading him in. He quickly went to the wardrobe where a few dozens of white robes from the school hung neatly, for daywear and nightwear.
Haochen grabbed the nightwear and made his way over to the bed.
"Paaaaardonnnnn?" Calibri said, yawning widely, giving Haochen a display of his perfectly set and cavity-free teeth. He then began to rub his eyes.
"Are you drunk?" Haochen asked, pausing his movements.
"I do not drinnnnnkkk. I like peas."
"What?"
"Peas. And Artichoke. Annnnnddddd... Cherries!" Calibri said, smiling and then laughing, like he's something deliriously funny.
Haochen blinked rapidly. Calibri, tossed his arm across the bed. "Haochen, your eyes are blue."
"Yes, they are. Your eyes are violet."
"Violettyyy-pink. I lack pigment in my eyeball! Sooo if you look carefully, you can almost see right through it! Do you understand my humour? It is ambiguous, I am so humourous." Calibri said, poking his eye then laughing laudly, lifting up his knees to his stomach. Haochen quickly moved his legs down to prevent himself from being flashed.
"Inebriation spell may work..." Haochen said to himself, scribbling in the air and then hitting his palm against the writing. The blue writing turned into several blue swirls that moved to paste themselves on Calibri's neck.
Haochen frowned. It should have been absorbed quickly, but it lingered on Calibri's pale skin.
He bit his lip. "Okay, wait here. Let me help your friends out so they can help you."
"Waaiiittttt. You said something." Calibri said, grabbing Haochen's sleeve.
"Nononono, let go of that, if your subjects saw me naked with you, they'd think something strange."Haochen said, trying to make Calibri let go of his sleeve because he'd already pulled off so much that Haochen's shoulder and arm were exposed. He was surprised at the strength of his grip, but managed to untangle Calibri's fingers from his robe.
"Stay on the bed, don't go anywhere. I'll be right back." Haochen said, firmly clamping Calibri's hands to his sides. "Stay."
Calibri yawned again. Haochen stepped backward out of the room and scrawled out the anti-inebriation spell as he walked back to the living room. Once there, he hit the writing and the blue swirls multiplied and moved to all the Verbatians, getting absorbed into their skin. Alexei had almost completely retrieved Calibri's clothes, and he looked very worried.
There was a loud thump and Haochen realized it must have come from Calibri, so he quickly made his way back to the room. When he opened the door, Calibri was on the floor, looking around for something.
He huffed. "Why is it so humid?" Calibri said, undoing the knot Haochen had made. Haochen winced and picked Calibri up to put him on the bed. "Don't take off your clothes." Haochen said.
"Relaaaaxxxxx we're both men." Calibri said, waving his hand.
"Listen to me, Calibri, I have to tell you something." Haochen said, thinking very quickly.
"What is it?" Calibri said, suddenly yawning very dopily and moving to spread himself across the bed. Haochen quickly grabbed his legs and snapped them closed, very red.
"In Verbatium, you said you bath with others, right?"
Calibri nodded.
"Well, in other sects, being naked in front of another person means you want to have intercourse with them." Haochen said.
Calibri's eyes shot open. Gears were slowly beginning to turn once again in his head. It looked like the spell had dissolved into his skin, finally.
"What did you say?"
Haochen nodded.
"Yes, it is an invitation. So if you are naked around anyone here, they're going to take it as an invitation to do strange, perverted, very painful, sexual things to you."
'What am I doing?' Haochen thought to himself.
Calibri stared at Haochen with horrified eyes, coming out of his dizzied state. He looked down at his barely covered body and quickly grabbed his pillow to cover himself.
Haochen shook his head, raising his hands. "No, no! You don't have to worry about me. I don't think like that. I don't have those intentions. But in the springs, even if they're all male, this is what they're going to think. You should never go to the springs when other people are there."
'What in the world am I saying?'
Alexei burst into the room holding all Calibri's clothes. He was flushed and had a worried expression on his face; he glanced at Haochen then moved quickly towards Calibri.
"Your majesty, why didn't you teleport us directly into your bed chamber? Now Prince Cloud is behaving even stranger than before!"
"I didn't think the space was large enough. And how can Prince Cloud not behave stranger now? He thinks I gave him an invitation to have intercourse with him." Calibri sobbed, covering his face with his hands.
"WHAT?!" Alexei yelped. "It's true, Haochen said being naked is an invitation to others to perform painful sexual acts." Calibri said, feeling awful for giving Cloud such an impression of himself unknowingly.
Alexei looked towards Haochen standing there, after he said what he said, next to his barely clothed prince.
"…I should wait outside." Haochen said, starting to step out.
Alexei put Calibri's clothes on the bed. "Your majesty, I will be right back." Alexei said, pushing past Haochen, slamming the door firmly, and going up to Cloud.
"YOU. I'm going to tell you this now. What you just saw is NOT an invitation to do ANYTHING to his majesty. You enjoy having reproductive organs, yes???" Alexei looked livid. His normally next to colourless skin was quite red.
Cloud looked over with a dopey smile, still holding his ladle. "Whatchu say, love?"
With that, Alexei could no longer hold his irritation, whipped out a dagger and Cloud's eyes widened. Haochen walked calmly into the living room, not intervening, and barely hiding his smirk.
"You saw his majesty naked, yes? And you think that's an invitation to sleep with him, correct?"
Cloud looked shocked. "WHAT? WAIT NO! I was only admiring his body!"
"Then do NOT admire! Do not look, and most certainly do NOT TOUCH him. Or we will CHOP IT OFF." Alexei said.
Cloud blinked rapidly and looked at the dagger near his groin. Kol suddenly opened the front door and walked in. "Haochen, you said you'd be in and out in a minute, what's taking so -"
He made eye contact with Haochen, then looked at what was happening. He was still very irritated with Calibri, and frankly, he was waiting on the next opportunity to put those prissy Verbatians in their place.
So what if that princess's brothers were going to scold him?
Teachers weren't allowed to single-out students and if they ill-treated him, he'd complain to the headmaster.
But when he walked in seeing the dagger to the pervert's groin, he couldn't help but decide to walk away and let them do what they wanted without his interference, because a dickless Cloud would be good for him too.
"Wait, wait, I didn't think of doing anything bad to him! I swear! Let's just put this away-" Cloud said trying to gingerly push the dagger away.
The others were coming out of their daze and started to look at Alexei. Alexei was always very calm and collected, so seeing him holding a dagger to Cloud's groin alarmed them.
"Alexei? What happened?" Kreia asked, looking around and picking Tea up quickly. "Where's my brother?"
Cloud looked at Haochen, panicked. "Haochen, what did you tell him?"
Haochen walked to stand near Kol. "I'll come back later to return his pouch." He told Kol.
"Kol, wait, help me!" Cloud whined.
"This man was having immoral thoughts about his majesty." Alexei said to the others.
"Wait, wait, this is a misunderstanding. I really wasn't going to do anything. Aren't Verbatians pacifists? Why are you threatening me and trying to cut off my-"
"Listen to me. You and his majesty share lodgings, and we would prefer it if we could see eye to eye with you. However, if this behavior continues, we will be forced into an altercation and will have to castrate you, no matter what sect you have behind you, if it needs to be done, it will be done. And if castration does not work, we will make sure you physically cannot do anything ever again."
"Did he do something to his majesty?" Siegon asked, unshrinking an enormous sword from within his sleeve. The others had disgusted lookd on their faces as they looked at Cloud and drew their weapons.
"Oh shit- Wait, listen, let's all calmly put away our weapons, I can explain-" Cloud started.
Kol snickered. "This is pretty funny to watch.
