Haochen and Calibri continued to talk for a while, and after discussing lectures, Haochen started to set Calibri's hair. Alexei bit his inner lip, turning over his recent revelation in his head.
Walking to Calibri's room to retrieve more head jewelry, the pair didn't seem to notice his absence. It was strange to think of the idea of Haochen possibly liking Calibri. Alexei opened Calibri's drawer and picked up the gaudy pieces, face contorted into a look of deep thought.
He could have been wrong, but unlike Calibri, he had actually liked someone before. That little blip sounded like his own heart whenever he saw that person.
Then again... Calibri had said Haochen had this strange heart palpitation since he'd met him. Alexei didn't believe in something as superficial as 'love at first sight'. How could one love a person without knowing anything about him?
