Chapter 25 - Episode 25

"We've captured 5 Belovian cult members on our way back. They're in the dungeon and ready for questioning." Bethlehem reported. Nathaniel nodded his head affirming his wife's words. Lyon was currently seated in the renaissance decorated office provided to him.

The couple looked at each other confused before turning back to Lyon. He had a blissful look on his face and he seemed absent-minded. "Did something happen, my lord?" Lyon ran his hand through his hair, a lopsided grin was now present. "You can say a miracle has taken place. I have found myself a lover."

An uncharacteristic squeal left Bethlehem's mouth before she bombarded the lovestruck elf with questions. Nathaniel watched the scene with soft eyes and a sweet smile on his face. He was happy for his lord. "OMG! Zohar and you. That's the cutest thing ever!" Bethlehem happily stated.

Nathaniel started cheering for Lyon, as the blonde male blushed.

A thick amount of tension filled the atmosphere. Lips were pursed and eyebrows furrowed. The air's arms held Zohar in a light chokehold as he felt himself suffocating. Crimson eyes bore into his face like he was some kind of prey, perhaps he was. Sirius closed one black robed leg over the other. They were both currently in the main bedroom.

"You and Lyon seem to have a romance blossoming." The tone in which he said it didn't sit right with Zohar. It was accusatory, almost like he betrayed someone. He didn't. That's not the relationship he had with the pale one. "And what of it?" Zohar curtly retaliated. Sirius snarled. "You shouldn't trust someone outside of this palace." Zohar looked at Sirius with a look of absolute disbelief.

"You cannot be serious with that statement. 'Trust no one outside of this palace, ' what kind of sick joke is that.!" Zohar yelled angrily. "Are you insinuating that you're trustworthy? The man who both took my home and freedom. What gives you the absolute right to say if a person is trustworthy or not?" His venom filled tone was now low.

Sirius stared at Zohar like a deer caught in the headlights." This isn't about trust though. You're just made you lost a potential sex slave." " Do not accuse me of vile things?" Sirius now stood up, anger written all over his face. "Why not? You've ordered for a genocide to happen. That's vile." A sarcastic tone dripping from the wolf's mouth.

Then Zohar's widened. "You were hoping some corny situation straight out of a horribly written novel would happen. Sad wittle hostage falls for his captor." The flash emotion that ran through Sirius's eyes confirmed Zohar's suspicion.

"You sick fuck." Zohar stepped forward. His lilac eyes now staring at crimson ones. Lips barely having any distance. In a hushed, menacing tone, "I'll rip my own heart out standing in front of the mirror. Proceed to watch the life leave my body if I ever feel anything but hatred for you. Remember that Count Sirius Alucard Romanov."

With the turn of a booted heel, Sirius was now left alone, feeling foolish as ever.
