The Hogwarts express came to a stop in front of Hogsmeade, from where all students Will continue their journey to Hogwarts castle, The train doors opened leading all the students out of the train, where they heard a manly, loud voice calling the first-year.
"First year gather around here" when the first year reached and gathered in front to see the owner of the voice who was calling them, they saw a half-giant with shaggy hair and a wild and tangled beard, Vanessa, Victoria, and a teddy standing in front, so Hagrid saw them and smiled to teddy "hello teddy" to which teddy gave a smile in return, "my name is Rubeus Hagrid, the keeper of keys and ground of Hogwarts, now first year follow me".
The first year followed Hagrid as they were told, who led them to the black lake which were having several boats that will transport the first year to Hogwarts castle, "each boat will have four students, hop up now " Hagrid said while getting on a boat only for himself.
All students were settled on a particular boat, Vanessa, Victoria, teddy, and a boy named Oliver were settled on a single boat, the boat started to pad by itself after Hagrid's command, and after a few minutes they saw the large, seven-story building who looks beautiful in the evening, the boat came to the shore, where all students step out of the boat, "follow Mr. Veg the caretaker, who will lead you the gate of the great hall" after saying that Hagrid left.
The first year followed Mr. Veg inside the castle to lead them to the great hall, where a professor was waiting for them, "here's your first year Professor Longbottom" Mr veg said to a Black hair, who wore a black Cloak man, "thank you Mr veg" the professor Said and Mr veg left.
"Welcome to Hogwarts, now in a few moments you will pass through this door and join your classmates, but before you can take your seats you must be sorted into your house," the professor said while looking at the first year, "they are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin, while now you're here your house will be your family, your triumph will earn you points, any rule breaking and you will lose points, at the end of the year, the house with most points Will be rewarded with the house cup, now the sorting ceremony will begin momentarily" after saying the professor went inside of the gate, leaving the first year.
"Wow now I'm nervous, "Victoria said to Vanessa who looks nervous too.
"There is nothing to be nervous about, harry said it's all in your head" teddy whispered to them, at that moment professor came back "we're ready for you now, follow me" the first year followed the professor inside the big gate that lead them to the great hall of Hogwarts
The great hall was lit by thousands and thousands of candles that were floating in midair over four long tables, where the rest of the students were sitting. These tables were laid with glittering golden plates and goblets. At the top of the hall was another long table where the teachers were sitting, the velvety black ceiling dotted with start was hard to believe there was a ceiling there at all, and that the Great Hall didn't simply open onto the heaven, the first year student was in awe.
The students were following the professor, and at that time Vanessa saw a familiar face at the teacher's table,
"Hey Vic I have to see that professor who's sitting beside the green cloak woman" Vanessa whispered to Victoria, who look at the teacher's table and see the green Cloak woman was headmistress Minerva McGonagall and beside her was a Dark hair woman with a ruby color cloak, "how?" Victoria whispered back, "I'll tell you later" Vanessa whispered and they both nodded in agreement.
"Gather around here please, before we begin professor McGonagall would like to say a few words" A tall, stern-looking witch with Black hair that was tied up in a bun stood up "I have a few starts of terms notice that I wish to announce, the dark forest is strictly forbidden to all the students, so do the dungeons" after saying that professor McGonagall sat.
"Now when I call your name, you shall come forth and I shall place the sorting hat on your head and you shall be sorted into your houses," Professor Longbottom said while picking up a brown-looking old hat and started to call out the names.
"Calvin brooks" A light Brown hair boy came out and sat on the chair, while the sorting hat was placed on his head, "you're a ready mind, where those of wit and learning will always find their kind.... RAVENCLAW" the Ravenclaw table cheers as the boy went and sat, welcomed by old students.
"Ashley Smith" Now a girl with frizzly short Black hair step up and sat on the chair where the sorting hat was placed, now which was on her head,
"Where kindness shines and loyal rises, who is unafraid of toil..... HUFFLEPUFF" and Again the cheers came more from the Hufflepuff table.
"Margot burke" A girl with blond hair stepped up and sat on the chair, "You are cunning and fearless, who use any meaning to achieve their ends... SLYTHERIN" a blonde hair girl proudly walked to the Slytherin table.
"Victorie Weasley" now it was Victories turn she walked nervously and sat on the chair, while the professor was placing the hat on her head, "ahhh another Weasley, who has a brain like Ravenclaw, I know where you belong where to dwell the bravery... GRYFFINDOR" at that moment victoire breath in relief and walked to the Gryffindor tables and sat.
"Edward lupin" Teddy walked out to the chair and sat, " ahhh a loyal like Hufflepuff, but brave by heart, I know where to belong... GRYFFINDOR" teddy had a huge smile on his face while he was walking to join Victorie while giving a sure smile to Vanessa.
"Vanessa Valencia" now it was Vanessa was nervous as hell, her only friends are in Gryffindor what if she's placed in another house, this was all Vanessa was thinking about while sitting on the chair, the sorting hat was placed on her head "ahh difficult, you're loyal like a Hufflepuff, have intelligence like Ravenclaw and fearless, ambitious like Slytherin and brave and determine like Gryffindor, rare witch like you. Slytherin can lead you to a great path..but what's important for you-" the sorting hat was taking his time to sort Vanessa "don't you dare put in Slytherin you old hat" Vanessa thought, no Gryffindor was all she needed, "Gryffindor" after hearing the what sorting hat yelled, Vanessa was happy who was now walking towards her friends who were happy as her, she sat beside Victoria and Victoria was teddy, all three of them was smiling brightly.
"Yes we are in Gryffindor" Victoria Said while giving a high five to Vanessa, at that moment Headmistress McGonagall stood and said "lets the feast begin" and all the golden plates were full of delicious food, which left the first year student in awe, indeed the journey of Hogwarts began.
