Chereads / The Journey of Mew / Chapter 58 - Ordon Village

Chapter 58 - Ordon Village

Moving about in the darkness a lot, Mew killed a lot of creepy monsters, tentacle monsters, goblin like monsters and weird glowing bugs. Mew would few disgusted every time he came across them, even more than when he batttled goblins in the tower of Babel. To let you know, those goblins smelled a lot! Don't even mention when their blood was splattered all over you. It was a really difficult task to wash off and the smell remained for a whole day.

These monsters weren't very intelligent either as they all rushed towards Mew as a mindless mob. It wasn't difficult to blast them away as soon as they came closer.

Anyway, Mew continued onwards until he finally left the dark world behind. It seemed hard, as the first time Mew bumped into a solid black wall. After he rubbed his sore nose, Mew simply teleported past it and arrived in a forest.

Unlike the perpetual darkness from before, Mew was greeted by the pleasant night sky as the stars twinkled in the sky. Breathing in the fresh air, Mew happily moved about as he went towards the place where light was coming from.

Landing softly on the branch of a towering tree, Mew looked over the scene of a tranquil little town. On the few signs that were posted around the town were words like, Ordon little shop, Ordon mayor, etc.

'So it's called Ordon. Kinda fits.'

Mew thought as he looked at a patroling human. Yes, human. He didn't have pointy ears so he was definitely human.

Looking at the whole thing, Mew noticed a few things. That was, the human carrying the sword was injured, the village was rather deserted and tense, and they all had severe faces when they patrolled around the village.

Something probably happened. Not that it was his problem. Mew happily swung back and forth as he watched the human like wolf sneak inside a building and coming out with a sword and a shield.

From time to time animals stopped at the wolfs feet as they seemed to talk to each other.

'How nice. He can talk to animals. I wonder what they are talking about.'

Mew couldn't help but think.

Seeing the wolf leave, Mew followed closely behind as he had a feeling something fun was happening.

Seeing the wolf disapear into the black wall, Mew pouted as he had just left that place.

'Ah, well. I'll go tomorrow. If there isn't something fun to do, I'll just make it myself.'

Going by that thought, Mew sought for a comfortable sleeping spot at a spring called Ordon spring. Sprawling out on one of the thicker branches of a tree, Mew yawned loudly as he closed his eyes and slept the night away.
