Dr. Thanesh is playing Chess Master in his mobile. After losing fourth time with the computer, he looked at the big round wall clock in irritation. It's almost 9 PM. He was waiting for Adithya since the past 2 hours, to have dinner but that man disappeared without any trace. He tried calling his mobile several times, but it's not reachable. Having experienced the feeling of being stood up several times, originally he ignored the delay.
But since it's more than 2 hours, he called John once again to confirm if Adithya's meeting was delayed by any chance.
"John...Is Adi still stuck in the meeting ?"
"Dr. Thanesh, I am really not familiar but most likely,it should have been done long ago. Boss left the office at 4 PM itself"
"Do you know whom he is going to ?", Thanesh felt some what uneasy, unknowingly.
"Yes Dr.Thanesh....It's the ex-prime minister to discuss about the land related to Noida constructions", John replied without hiding the facts. Usually, Adithya's schedule is highly confidential and it couldn't be revealed easily. But, Mr. Thanesh is the sworn brother of the president. So, he revealed the meeting info without any hesitation.
"Oh...that sly fox ahhh....", Thanesh gave a long pause. All of a sudden, something immediately striked his brain and he anxiously questioned, " By any chance, did he go alone ?"
"Yes Mr. Thanesh...Boss went alone. He didn't allow any bodyguards to follow !!"
"Shit...", Thanesh cursed. Ask the dark guards to trace his location immediately. Approach the police and request for any assistance if required. I am heading over there. After that, he immediately disconnected the call and rushed out of his cabin.
John noted all the instructions and promptly put them into immediate action.

Exactly before 30 minutes of Adithya's departure from the office
Knock….knock
"Yes.. come in", Adithya replied without lifting his head. He was deeply immersed in the analyzing the risks associated with their new venture project called as Noida constructions.
"Boss…Just now our legal team has informed us that the land in which we are going to start the construction has been illegally occupied by Mr. Thomas, the ex-prime minister."
" So ???", he questioned without any expression.
"Actually…. actually… Mr. Thomas is having another set of legal papers showing that the land belonged to him. Also, since he is involved in the politics, it may take a while, for us to start the new venture", the assistant replied with lot of hesitation.
Adithya's brows furrowed in little displeasure…. He didn't say anything to his assistant unlike the usual CEO statements like 'Get it done no matter what !!' or 'Are you guys incapable?'
He simply nodded and said, "Okay !! I will meet him after an hour. Will discuss in person."
The assistant heaved in relief after this sentence. Infact, kashyap group legal team is quite effective but going against ex-prime minister might be definitely hard. But his almighty boss can handle it with ease like eating popcorn during a movie.
"Cancel all my meetings for today. Don't allow the bodyguards to follow. After this meeting, I am going to meet Thanesh and have dinner. You guys can leave for the today", he informed and left the office.

'Did that cunning old man, by any chance, do anything to the boss ?', John panicked in worry. Thinking that his boss might be in danger alone is scary to imagine. 'I should have at least accompanied boss to the meeting'. He cursed himself terribly and sworn that there will never be another time, that he will leave the boss alone.

4: 30 PM - 30 minutes after Adithya started from the office
When Adithya arrived at the outskirts of the city, four cars started following him silently. 'What a greedy old man', Adithya smiled crookedly.
He increased the car speed and the speedometer showed 200km/hr. Since his life is always under the spotlight, Adithya is clearly aware of the level of threats to his life. Henceforth, all his cars are specially customized with several functions, which ordinary cars don't have. Slowly, the four cars behind him disappeared in a few minutes and unknowingly, he relaxed his vigilance. But, out of blue, a huge speeding truck rushed from the sideways and collided his car hardly. The car was overturned twice, despite it's ability to withstand any huge shock wave.
In the next moment, the car lost its control and moved into the woods. After travelling a little distance, the car finally crashed into a big banyan tree.The earlier crash has already punctured the fuel storage, causing it to spill and the second crash resulted in more damage to the fuel tank. Adithya could clearly smell the gas leakage and knew that the car could explode in any minute. He wished to open the door, but due to the hit received earlier, his upper half body is severely injured and paralyzed. Adithya understood that his body has reached its saturation point and it's impossible for him to move even little finger.
At that moment,distinctly, he could sense that death is only a few yards away. No amount of money or no amount of fame could stop a person from dying in his last moments. He felt neither anxious nor worry. He was born alone and was going to die alone....!! There is not even a single person, whom he could say as his family, though he got some good friends and employees. So, he felt glad that his death would not cause any distress to anyone.
He closed his eyes in peace waiting for the death to come and embrace him....!!
Unexpectedly, at that time, a long white slender hand opened the door and pulled his body from the car and pushed far away...
In the next second.....BOOM
The fuel tank exploded and the car burst into wild flames...!!
