Character: Henry

Role in story: MC (Main Character)

Age: 21

Abilities: Swordsman, excellent in use of one handed sword, quick and powerful.

Power: Not awakened. (Don't worry, you'll find out as the story progresses.)

Description: Henry's parents have been with him since the beginning. When he was a kid, he was so carefree and happy. But now, he's a shell of his former self. Quiet, expressionless, apathetic. You'll rarely catch him smiling. He has one goal in mind - to find the Sacred Stone of Eugahria. It has been lost for almost 45 years. It is said that those that it finds worthy enough will be granted one wish, and it will come true. He wishes to find that stone and bring back his parents, no matter what.

Character: Rein

Role in story: SC (Side character) (One of Henry's childhood friends)

Age: 20

Abilities: Skilled with a two handed axe, uses brute force to get the job done.

Power: Not awakened. (Like Henry, and Adeline, you'll find out more as the story progresses.)

Description: Henry and Rein haven't always been the best of friends. They constantly bicker, and Henry always seems to get the best of Rein. All Rein wants is to start over with Henry and become good friends with him. So in order to do that, he will do everything in his power to help Henry succeed in finding the stone. Rein has always been friendly, and can befriend almost anybody he meets. He's affectionately called "Big Dummy" by his other friend, Adeline.

Character: Adeline

Role in story: SC (Side character, one of Henry's other friends.)

Age: 19

Abilities: Skilled with a short bow, and fast and deadly with knives.

Power: Not awakened.

Description: Adeline is a short, slim, pretty girl who has been with Henry for almost 8 years. She knows him the best, and despite the fact that he has changed so drastically, is still in love with him. She never gets to see Henry smile anymore which pains her deeply, and although quite small, is her goal until her dying breath - to see Henry smile again.

Character: Echo

Role in story: SC (Henry's mentor and guardian of 10 years.)

Age: 43

Abilities: Wields a two-handed greatsword with a spear on his back for emergencies.

Power: Divine Retribution (Can apply great force to swings on any weapon that he wields, causing immense power and sometimes even great wind pressure that can knock back and even slice through his opponents at range.)

Description: Not much is known about Echo. No one has ever seen his face, because he is always wearing a helmet. No one has ever heard a sound come from him, he is always silent. Not even screams of pain or sorrow. The man is always silent. He never leaves Henry's side, and is always guiding him and teaching him combat.

Character: Florentia

Role in story: SC (Henry's "love interest" ;))

Age: 20

Abilities: Can use a short sword to an extent, not the best combat-wise.

Power: None

Description: Florentia is the daughter of a nobleman within the Kingdom of Eugahria, and is always watching Henry train with Echo. For some reason, she has taken a liking to him and likes to bother him on occasion. It is then she realizes his ambition - and decides that "by fate" they were to work together. Only problem; she wants the Stone for herself. Oh my... what ever is Henry going to do?

These are some of the books most important characters, so of course you'll be seeing some more. I hope you guys will enjoy this, it's taking me a lot of thinking and preparation, so I hope you like it.
