"YOU BASTARD. I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"
Tura sprinted into the room and knocked Lurtar onto the ground. She continued to lay multiple punches onto his face until Lurtar's lackeys came and held her back. She still wasn't done as she still tried to kick him and yell.
"I know it was you! And when I find out the truth I'll kill you with my bare hands."
Lurtar simply got back up and laughed off the punches. He walked over to her and put a hand on her cheek.
"Something like this is inexcusable. However, if you were to maybe spend the night together I could forget that all this happened."
Without hesitation Tura spat at Lurtar's face before a quick comment. "I would rather with a beast than you."
Lurtar was now being humiliated in front of the entire lecture hall and he couldn't take it. He was ready to slap Tura until a soft but stern voice came from behind them.
"If you dare put your hands on her I will make sure you are punished accordingly."
Before Lurtar could identify the voice he turned around with frustration in his voice. "Who dares talk to me this way…" Soon after he noticed that the voice came from Iva and began to lighten up again. "Iva. How could I help you? Is something the matter?" He said with a smile.
Iva simply ignored Lurtar and walked to his lackeys. She gave them a stern look before grabbing Tura's arm and walking off.
Tura was still in shock as she walked side by side with Iva. She couldn't say anything until Iva pulled the two of them into an empty room and spoke.
"What do you think you are doing? One wrong move and Lurtar can destroy your whole family."
Tura knew the consequences for confronting Lurtar, but Zomarus was worth it.
"You heard him yourself. He admitted to doing something to Zomarus. He could be injured or hurt and god forbid he actually…" Tura couldn't force herself to continue.
"Impossible, Zomarus would never die to the hands of Lurtar. In addition to this his body was never found so we can assume he's still out there. Come with me. I have someone who might help."
Iva once again grabbed Tura's hand and led her towards the teacher's room. In the room they would see General Yi Qin meditating at his desk. He looked up at the two girls shocked.
"Excuse me, but you two girls shouldn't be here."
"Dad, we need your help."
Without any words Yi Qin opened his eyes wide and pointed at Tura with his pupils.
"This isn't the time for this. Tell us everything you know about the library case a couple of days ago."
With a heavy sigh Yi Qin sat down on his desk. "What's the point of keeping it secret if you are just going to tell people."
He looked around at his desk and grabbed a file that included a bag of blood and notes.
"There's nothing out of the ordinary. It seems two students had a fight and one of them didn't end up so great afterwards. Be that as it may, we still have a huge problem in our hands. It seems that a student in the academy has their hands on a godly weapon."
Iva soon stopped her father in his tracks. "Wait. That would seem to be the case unless the person who was injured was actually a human and not a god."
"What are you trying to imply, daughter?"
Tura came from behind the shadow's and spoke up. "We think that the person was actually Zomarus."
"That does seem plausible, but how can you be certain?"
"It's because he's not in class today. Furthermore, that scum Lurtar even admitted it in front of everyone."
"If that's the case then it's settled. Zomarus was most likely taken away from Lurtar and there's no possible way to help him." He said as he closed the file.
Iva cut back into the conversation more angry than worried. "What do you mean there's no possible way to help him. You know that it's Lurtar so why don't you punish him yourself."
"I would love to do that and help you girls but I can't. Lurtar has a very important background, and if his mother were to get involved it would be over."
Yi Qin stood up and looked down at the two and slammed his hand on his desk. "And if I find out you two are getting involved in this situation I won't be able to help you. So just pretend nothing happened and continue training." Yi Qin was sure about his decision and wouldn't change it.
Tura was about to argue back before getting cut off by Iva. The two of them couldn't believe what the general had just said. It was absurd to think that they couldn't do anything about their close friend.
Tura looked at Iva and questioned her about the situation. "What are we supposed to do now?"
Iva looked back and started to walk. "You heard my father. This is where this stops. We can't afford to offend anyone."
"That's it? We just stop here and pretend none of this is happening? And here I thought you actually cared about Zomarus but you're just like the rest of them."
Without a word Iva continued to walk and not say a word.
"That's what I thought. But don't worry, I won't give up hope. Just wait for me."
Tura would wait for the day until the two of them would cross paths once again.
~~~~~
One month had passed and there was still no sign of Zomarus appearing. While some appeared to lose hope, there were others that seemed to believe that he was okay.
As the month passed all of the first years came to find out the truth. That Lurtar had killed Zomarus and there was no hiding it as Lurtar had it official. He announced that he had killed the scum of the clouds for messing around with his women.
As the rumor went around the school the teachers still had done nothing about it. It seemed that during a meeting with the head elder it was decided that if the student was easily killed it was his own fault for being weak.
Ever since the decision was made, Tura knew it was bullshit. It was only that they did not want to go up against Death and her powerful backing.
However, this only motivated her even more. While people like that didn't care about Zomarus she would be the one to get stronger and see her as a threat.
It wouldn't end until there was justice for Zomarus.
