Sighing from content he left the cafe after leaving the money on the table.
Ryuu: ' I didn't think you liked chocolate so much'(;￣Д￣)
Kohaku: ' Do you not like chocolate?'
Ryuu paused causing Satoshi to wait for him to catch up. Ryuu looked at his cat body and then glared a Satoshi.
Ryuu: ' Yah it's more like I've never had it'
Kohaku: ' I shall mourn your sad life' (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ
Ryuu hissed at him before he ran ahead.
Satoshi chuckled as he kept walking.
" We really do keep bumping into each other...." the familiar voice said. Startled, he turned around to see the female lead standing behind him with a puzzled expression.
" Yeah it's really weird isn't it," Satoshi murmured. He was confused as this event never happened in the video game.
" Are you free at the moment?" questioned Kiyoko looking away from Satoshi. He nodded causing her to smile.
" Well let's go back on my word and I'll recommend some manga to you then?" the female lead asked a tinge of hopefulness in her voice.
" Sure," Satoshi replied.
" One of my favorites is " The Dragon's Consort". The main plot of the story is-" Satoshi was listening, but wasn't at the same time.
Kiyoko was a good storyteller, adding to her river like voice it was quite nice to listen to her. Sometimes Satoshi would chime in about a manga or make side remarks that would cause her to giggle.
Discarding the information on her route's ending, she was a good person.

*RYUU POV*
Sometimes Ryuu hated the fact that his participant first world was a romance one. Mostly because he hated thinking about romance as it unearthed memories of HER.
Ryuu almost gagged thinking about what that woman had done.
Shaking the thought off, he decided to go explore again to leave the rabbit and love interest alone.
Left alone with his thoughts for a moment he jumped onto a trash can in the alley he was in.
" Blu," he whispered, causing the space around him to all of a sudden turn distorted.
" Yes, master?" Appearing out of nowhere was a tall girl. She had pure white hair with black and blue streaks. Sprouting out of her back were massive blue jay wings that were huddled close to her as the alleyway was too small.
" Bird form," Ryuu said curtly before jumping down from the trash can.
A dimmed light covered her then dispersed leaving a blue jay in its place.
" Very sorry sir, please don't-" Blu started.
" You said sister Ren called for me?" said Ryuu cutting off Blu. The bird nodded.
The space around them once again grew distorted before the cat and bird disappeared.

*KOHAKU POV*
The duo stopped at some stores to pick up some snacks before reaching the library. Kiyoko did small talk once they explored the library then paused.
" You haven't told me your name yet," She said, picking up a book in the section they were in.
" Then I guess we should start over then, My name is Kai Satoshi," he said giving the female lead a grin.
" Nakajima Kiyoko..." she said returning him a smile as well.
After talking some more they silently strolled on the sidewalk of the city.
" Hey, babe, you're quite pretty you know," Turning around Satoshi found there was a scruffy middle-aged man who was making sheep eyes at Kiyoko.
" Thanks?" Kiyoko said taking a few steps back.
" Why not ditch your little boyfriend and hang with me then?" the man said with a shit-eating grin.
Smiling he backed away as the man reached out to grab Kiyoko's wrist.
He didn't want that scum to do anything to the female lead, but he was as weak as a fly. Then again he had his trust pair of scissors, but what if the female lead got scared off? But the task wasn't very specific, in fact, if he wanted he could just kill them both of the love interests. He wasn't very violent though, and much rather try to stay clean.
Just as he was about to start tapping his cheek he stopped.
Satoshi sighed, he didn't want to use his precious energy to think anymore. Taking out his trusty pair of scissors. He smiled.
As soon as the man grabbed Kiyoko's wrist harshly he sprinted toward them the scissors twirling around his hand.
" Well, now that your little boyfriend is gone I have to escort you now- ARGHHHH!!" Satoshi had swiped his scissors at the man's cheek leaving a shallow wound. The man stumbled back in confusion.
" Why don't you leave us alone you pest?" Satoshi said cheerfully, betraying the aura he was exuding. The man shuddered then fled the scene.
Kohaku was always like this. In elementary school, he was known as the Trimmer Demon, with his strange skill to do anything with just a pair of scissors. Maybe once in a while, he would be called to the principal's office for threatening a kid with one, but he was rather helpful with this skill.
But he couldn't help it, he just loved seeing other's emotions when he pulled out his scissors and started walking toward them. He loved the feeling as though he was the puppeteer.
Especially when others tried to come to the rescue trying to be the little heroes-
Snapping out of it the scissors seemed to jump from his hand and into his school bag as he returned back to Kiyoko.
" Let's go, Nakajima," Satoshi murmured to Kiyoko before he returned to the stroll.
The female lead stared Satoshi in indifference before running back to the spot on his left.
As they walked in silence they stumbled upon a playground. Smiling from the good memories he plopped himself down on a swing lightly swaying. Kiyoko quickly sat on the swing next to him.
Both of them were happy to not say anything as the sun started sinking.
" Hey, Kai. Thanks for what happened earlier," Kiyoko said in a small voice, interrupting the silence.
" No problem, I got to practice my skills," he mumbled, the corners of his mouth curling up.
" You really seemed to know your way around that pair of scissors." She spoke up bringing up the topic.
" Yup, when I was young I had to learn how to use it like that to survive primary school," he replied. Kiyoko looked at him with a questioning gaze.
" Joking, joking," he said causing her to let out a small chuckle. Sometimes it took her a moment to understand if what he said was either a joke or real.

*KIYOKO POV*
Looking at the peculiar boy Kiyoko smiled. His side view was captivating with the light Illuminating him in warm colors. She stood up quickly from her swing causing it to rock back and forth for a moment. Staring at Satoshi she walked and stopped in front of him.
" let's be friends!" she said with a cheerful smile, as she held out her hand.
Pulling him up from his swing he smiled.
" Aren't we already friends Nakajima?" he said with a grin before she let go of his smooth hand.

*KOHAKU POV*
He fell onto his bed in exhaustion.
Luckily he didn't have to wait to raise her " Love Bar" into friendship. Getting up to turn the lights off he paused.
" Where did that cat run off?" he asked nobody in particular.
