Chapter 6 - Where Is Ryuu?

A shiver crawled up his spine as he broke into a run toward his house, pushing past many people frantically.

Satoshi didn't remember telling his name to Keiji so why did he call him it?!?!

Well, stalkers did have their ways-

But that smile would probably leave a mental mark on Kohaku until his reincarnation!

Kohaku: ' Where the hell is Ryuu to input his shitty remark?!! I need him at the moment to distract me! I much rather feel the emotion to strangle him then the emotions right now!' (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`)

Not good. Not good. Not good. Not good at all!

Once Ryuu comes back he needed to know the punishment of failing a task or if there was a reset button.

Knocking on his house door, he waited a moment before walking in.

Why did he do it even though he knew Satoshi's parents were conveniently away on vacation? He didn't know.

Walking through the house he crashed on his bed.

*RYUU POV*

" Boys, boys, please settle down, big sis is here so no need to worry," a melodic voice sounded interrupting Ryuu's and Hajime fight.

Ren was very pretty. She always had an air of royalty with her golden hair and golden eyes. Her perfect frame could make any male drool. Well, unfortunately, Ryuu only saw her as a big sister.

" Sister Ren! I've been waiting for you!" Ryuu smiled as he purred.

" Yes, yes, we can talk as friends after the meetings though," Ren said as she waved her hands causing a large round table to appear with multiple chairs.

Sister Ren gestured for everybody to sit down.

" So, over the past year what has the troop been doing when I was gone?" Ren said as she tapped her finger on the table.

" I was having a GREAT time with my participant...." Chieko mumbled as she laid her head on the table.

" My participant is quite silent, and most of her actions are quite questionable. She also resorts to threats when she can't get something...and usually acts on them," Hajime replied as he nodded.

Ryuu staid silent.

" Ryuu?" Ren said, urging him to report.

" Leader Ren, he has been inactive as none of the participants fit him. There is an exception for the participant he STOLE from you," Hajime huffed.

" Hmm, you mean Omori Kohaku? It's fine as I already had my hands full with Miho," she sighed as her tapping grew faster.

" Well, sister Ren, I'm unsure if he's unstable-" Ryuu started.

" You saw the files yourself! That boy has problems that need to be fixed before the reincarnation!" Hajime snarled.

" Tch," Ryuu started kneading the chair he was in with his claws.

" There is one thing I've noticed," Ryuu murmured. The rest of the Guardian Hosts looked at up Ryuu in expectation.

" Rabb- Kohaku has this weird part of him that will activate when he is in a " bad situation"...I don't think he knows about it," Ryuu started sounding a bit unsure.

" Yes, yes, that was already on the files," sister Ren said in disappointment.

" Well, then that boy is still the person to be expected. Miho, Chiharu, and Yoshihiro are being the devils they were expected to be too as well..... so no news at all....." Chieko whined as she lightly pounded the table.

" Well, how close are Chiharu and Yoshihiro to reincarnation?" sister Ren asked trying to keep the conversation.

Both of them did not answer.

" Look, hosts, we are special among all the others. We are supposed to be the ones to stabilize the unstable ones for reincarnation. As everyone deserves a second chance. But with the way you two are going, it will take an eternity for them to be ready for that!" sister Ren started massaging her temples.

" Sister Ren...breathe in, they will eventually see their ways," Hajime said in a soft voice.

Ryuu did not believe this.

The whole reason these people were unstable was that there was probably something going on in there noggin.

These people would not have something in them to tell them to stop.

" Such a shame that the rabbit will not listen to me," Ryuu said under his breath. Chieko who was nearby frowned, knowing that if Ren heard that the situation would turn rotten.

If it was obvious, Ryuu did not find the Guardian Hosts goal likable. He was only there to support sister Ren.

He was also merely recruited as he " fit the requirement". At least he would work quickly to get the ability to return to mortality.

Ryuu sighed.

Ren grumbled something to herself before snapping her fingers causing the chairs and table to disappear. The rest of the Guardian hosts lightly landed on the ground.

" Since we have no important news in the last year, I'll end this meeting," Ren said, brushing away a strand of golden hair that was blocking her view of the others.

Ryuu stood up without a word activating the teleporter so he could go back supervising Kohaku.

Ryuu: ' Sorry, sister Ren, no talk. even though it might only be an hour, it's probably has been three days in Kohaku's world with the shitty time of this place' o(TヘTo)

....

*KOHAKU POV*

Satoshi stayed still under his blanket hoping the cat on his bed wasn't Ryuu.

" Aren't you going to say hello to your amazing host?" the tuxedo cat made something like a grin before jumping down the bed and padding out the door.

Reluctantly following Ryuu, Satoshi slipped out of bed.

Nibbling on a piece of toast, he exited the house with Ryuu nearby. Telling Ryuu the events of the past days Ryuu's face grew into pity.

Ryuu: ' Don't worry about it, my child. This is your first mission so you were bound to fail it!" ヽ( ̄ω ̄(._. )ゝ

Kohaku: ' Why have you already given up!!!' (╯°益°)╯彡┻━┻

Ryuu thrilled before he disappeared again. Satoshi sighed as he shook his head.

But Kohaku did take in the fact that Keiji was rather ticked off quickly.

There was certainly a high chance that he was going to fail his task. It was unfortunate as he was doing so well with the female lead.

But maybe he could disappoint Keiji so much that he would leave Kohaku alone.

Stopping to clench his fists he realized that footsteps were coming behind him.

" Hey! What a coincidence!" Turning around he spotted Keiji.

" O-oh...hi," Satoshi stuttered stepping away from him.

Fuck.

....

*KEIJI POV*

Keiji inwardly frowned. It seemed he was not subtle enough.

Was the boy afraid of him? Hmm...

This might hinder him a bit. Oh well, it's not the journey it's the end. Such a shame that his goal involved Satoshi. The boy was quite good looking.
