Chereads / Destined Guardian : Mafia's Adopted Son / Chapter 8 - The Untouchable One

Chapter 8 - The Untouchable One

With a facial condition that has a few bruises, Aldy walked down the hospital hallway to the place where his sister, Maureen was. Heri turned when he heard the sound of the door opening behind him.

Heri's face clearly showed concern. "Are you fighting again?"

Aldy nodded in agreement with Heri's question and closed the door to the hospital room. He put his bag on the sofa in the corner of the room and took off the jacket he was wearing, revealing his crumpled white high school uniform. It was very clear that Aldy had indeed been in a fight with someone.

"Didn't you say before that you would train yourself to be a good big brother to Maureen when she wakes up?"

Aldy sat on the sofa next to where he had put his bag and jacket, leaning his back. "I did this for Maureen too."

"For Maureen? What do you mean? Did you fight for her? Did anyone badmouthing Maureen at school?"

"It's not like that. It's hard to explain," replied Aldy.

Heri walked closer to Aldy and sat right next to him. "Then please explain it to me, so I can help you."

Aldy took a deep breath and let it out with a slightly louder exhalation. "You once told me that Maureen should be in high school. There is a possibility that Maureen will go to the same school as me, right?"

Heri was still listening while nodding in response to Aldy's question.

"The situation at school is chaotic. School gangs around are always looking for trouble with each other. It's not nearly every day that representatives from other schools come to make a mess."

Heri almost couldn't believe what Aldy said. "If that's the case, why didn't you ever tell me? Starting tomorrow, you can find another school with better conditions."

Aldy shook his head, making Heri curious about his response. "Huh, why? Wait … Don't tell me that you,"

Now Aldy nodded, Hari was shocked because of what he thought had actually happened.

Aldy looked up at the ceiling of the hospital room where Maureen lay in a coma, still leaning her back on the head of the sofa she was sitting on, "I was late coming home because I challenged all the gangs at school at once. And now, they've all bowed to me."

Heri seemed unable to say anything in response to his son's words. He was just silent, listening to what Aldy said.

"And starting tomorrow, I'm going to start making my school the one most respected and feared by other schools. That way, Maureen can rest easy going to school there when she wakes up."

Heri exhaled slowly, trying to control herself. "Why do you have such thoughts? Wouldn't it be easier to move to another school?"

Aldy straightened his seat and turned to look back into his father's eyes. "I also don't know why I want to do such a troublesome thing. But, every time I daydream in my room, all I can think of is what I can do for Maureen as her brother. Even though I've never known Maureen, but it feels like Maureen has like someone I have to take care of no matter what. It doesn't make sense, does it?"

Heri now understands that what Aldy does is only as an older brother who loves his younger brother. Even though the method Aldy took seemed extreme and dangerous, but if Aldy did it with his whole heart, even Heri could no longer forbid it.

Because Heri also knows that if a man is determined, then nothing can stop him.

Heri smiled a warm smile that could always make Aldy feel calm. "If that's the decision you make, I won't stop you. There's only one thing I ask of you. Don't push yourself too hard. If you can't handle that, we can find another school for you and Maureen later."

Aldy was silent for a while before finally nodding in agreement to Heri's request. Now Aldy turned his gaze to the girl who was still lying in a coma on the hospital bed.

While continuing to look at Maureen's peaceful face, Aldy asked in his heart, when will Maureen wake up.

Can Maureen accept someone like her as an older sister?

All Aldy could do was guess because only Maureen knew the answer.

Even though Maureen was unconscious, she could actually hear whatever was going on around her. And Maureen, the girl who was lying in a coma could hear what Aldy was talking about with Heri.

In her coma, Maureen was really curious, actually who was the man named Aldy who always talked to her father? And why did that person think of Maureen as his sister?

And why did someone named Aldy say that he wanted to do something for her, even though they didn't know each other yet?

In their hearts, Aldy and Maureen asked each other questions.

And only the two of them know the answers to all those questions.

Taking a deep breath, Aldy closed his eyes, trying to feel the surrounding air he was breathing before opening his eyes again. Behind Aldy stood all the members of the Caius Ballad Private High School gang, including three former gang leaders, Edwin, Zico, and Marsel.

Meanwhile, in front of Aldy, about two hundred meters away stood a combination of four gangs from different schools at once. Two from state school gangs, two from private schools. They all join forces to attack Caius Ballad Private High School because previously Aldy had provoked these four school gangs at once.

Marsel, who was standing a few steps behind Aldy, stepped closer to Aldy and stood right beside him. Carefully, Marsel looked around at the four school gangs in front of them who would be their opponents in the first battle after Aldy officially became the sole leader.

Marsel turned to Aldy, his right hand holding an iron pipe and pounding it on the ground. "I don't need to remind you again that we're outnumbered by them, do I?"

Ally didn't answer. Marsel was used to Aldy's attitude like that. He also chose not to ask why Aldy did not hold a weapon at all.

Marsel turned to look at his own school gang friends and looked back at his enemy. "We are all ready, just waiting for your orders," said Marsel while stomping his head left and right alternately to relax his neck muscles.

"Or we could—"

Before Marsel could finish his sentence, without the slightest warning, Aldy ran very fast towards the four school gangs who had joined to attack them alone.

Yep, Aldy started the fight on his own, leaving Marsel and the others far behind.

In the end, they all followed Aldy's steps even though they were far behind.

Aldy jumps up and presents his right knee on the first enemy's chest.

Duakkkk!~ ...

The knee strike from Aldy made his opponent cough out fresh blood from his mouth. As soon as Aldy's feet were back on the ground, Aldy immediately lunged at the opponents around him mercilessly.

With a stable movement speed and regular breathing, plus mentally trained to stay calm even under pressure, Aldy can control his stamina but still have a large attack impact on the opponent's body.

Aldy never launches an attack on the opponent's less vital body parts. He prefers to target body parts that allow his opponent to fall in one or two strokes, especially when he is in a mass fight like this.

His fist shot towards the neck of the opponent in front of him. Glancing slightly to the right, and realized that someone was swinging a machete at him. Aldy jumped backward to dodge the vertical swing of the machete and quickly delivered a left-foot kick to the person swinging the machete, landing right on his stomach.

The man bowed thanks to Aldy's left-foot kick that hit him. And at that moment, Aldy took advantage of the downed person's body, made his back as a foothold, and jumped to attack the other opponent with a flying kick.

Marsel, who was not far from where Aldy was, was silent for a moment. This is indeed not the first time Marsel has been in a mass fight with Aldy, but Aldy's way of fighting, which can overthrow his opponents in a very brutal yet organized movement, never fails to fascinate his eyes.

He was grateful that Aldy did not attend another school. Because if he faced Aldy on the battlefield as an enemy, there was no doubt that the hospital was the only place he would return to after fighting him.

Edwin also saw what Aldy was doing from where he was. The former supreme leader of the Caius Ballad Private High School, whose position was taken over by Aldy recently, had a big smile on his lips. "It turned out that my guess was right. When you faced me for the position of a gang leader, you still held yourself back. If you were serious about fighting at that time, I would have been lying in my grave straight away. You damn bastard."

Edwin noticed. The Aldy he currently sees is not Aldy who at that time fought with him in the struggle for power of the school gang. Compared to the Aldy he saw now with his two eyes, it was truly brutal and emitted a terrifying aura.

Plus, Aldy's face that doesn't show any expression even though he has defeated so many opponents on this battlefield makes anyone who sees him will immediately label Aldy as a cold-blooded killer, even though none of his opponents were killed, just unconscious.

But that's not all. Some of the victims of Aldy's ferocity were curled up on the ground suffering from fractures in several bones in their bodies.

Even Zico, the person who used to look down on Aldy the most, now could only shudder at how the man he looked down on seemed to dominate the mass battlefield alone.

Both Edwin, Marsel, and Zico, three people who were once the leaders of the biggest gang at Caius Ballad High School, have without a doubt, set their hearts on following Aldy.

And without a doubt, which side will win the battle this time.

No matter how big the difference in their numbers, as long as Aldy is on the battlefield, the victory will be on Aldy's side.

And at that moment, the nickname Caius Ballad's Untouchable-Men was attached to Rizaldy Pradipta.
