Anastasia ran down to the training grounds. She was troubled by the news that her sister in law is expecting again. Not only does the younger Levi have his mate, he has 3 pups with another 2 on the way. She was feeling passed over, unwanted and mad as fuck. Why? Why had the Moon Goddess overlooked her?
This anger fueled her to fight harder, stronger and more vigorous than ever. The Beta was afraid the princess was going to kill warriors if he didn't do something. Just then a pack of females came over to invite the princess out for drinks. It's Ladies night at the town over from here.
"Yeah, why not? I'll go to Ladies night. Thanks for the invitation. I just need a quick shower I can be ready in 30 minutes.", the princess responded.
Anastasia ran up the steps in a flash, she was naked and in the shower in 2 minutes. Her shower was fast. She never lingered in the water unless she was in pain. She dried off and left her curly hair damp.
She wore mascara, eyeliner and lipstick. Her freckles were cute and didn't need covering. Her natural beauty oozed out of her pores. She was drop dead gorgeous and had a smoking hawt body. She decided to play on her figure tonight.
She wore a pair of white pants with no underwear, dangerous but she wasn't worried. She wore a white tank top and black cover up blouse. No bra. Her black and white check wedges would be the perfect shoe. She put on her necklace her mom gave her and a diamond bracelet. She wore black onyx earrings and a black choker.
She met the girls in her Jeep truck at the pack house gate. The girls climbed up into the jeep. They were laughing, howling, and loud as they could be. They were having so much fun and were so distracted they didn't notice the black form following them.
He clung near the trees and was just out of range for them to smell the copper on his breath. The vampire had been following the girls but when they stopped for the Royal he felt like he had won the lottery.
Little did they know Kara had been following them as well. She told her twin brothers all about the vampires trying to attack packs of unsuspecting females. She had been on the hunt for 6 months trying to lure this vampire to his death.
Kara's brothers, Brett and Rhett, were much stronger warlocks because of the twin bond. She knew that she might need them to help with the fight. She never thought about Anastasia being in the vampires crosshairs.
Anastasia had a very unique smell, she had grown into a new smell of sandlewood, vanilla and musk. It was very sensual and Ana knew it. She had seen many wolves follow her then realized that they were not mates.
Her mate hadn't been seen yet. Normally at age 18 you find your mate and if you haven't found your mate by 21 you probably didn't have one. You never knew if your mate would be male or female, what kind of creature you might get ( human, wolf, vampire, royal, mythic, witch, warlock, fae, or snake), or how you would find your mate.
The Moon Goddess was in total control and she always got it right. Sure you could reject your mate but it would be stupid to do so. Very few second chance mates were given. Normally if you rejected your mate you would die. Rejected mates could be given a second chance but it was rare.
Now Anastasia was pissed, her wolf Laura was pissed and her snake Samantha was pissed. They just wanted to let it all out. Let go of everything causing her problems. She went right to the bar. She ordered 2 margaritas with an extra shot of patron silver with each.
She took the first shot straight up, the second was followed by a squeeze of lime. Then she drank the first margarita followed by the second one. She knew that was just a start but it was a good start. The vampire followed her in, Kara followed him and then came the twins.
The minute the twins hit the door they smelled her. They knew right away they had found their mate. Ana had too much to drink so she wasn't up to speed. The twins were glad that they shared a mate. They had always been close and they knew it would never be a fight. They would only love her.
Samantha knew but didn't say anything to Anastasia because she knew it would be useless. However, Laura went berserk. She was screaming to get out, she was jumping around yelling MATE! Ana and Sam had a brief convo about how Laura was behaving. Ana still couldn't believe that she had a mate in this room.
The vampire got closer to Ana, he was dancing with her, talking to her, trying to control her thoughts. He was really good at mind control but he had never had to control a snake, a wolf and a human. He thought that because he had lived 800 years he was invincible.
"Luis, it's good to see you again." Brett said. "Yes indeed brother it's been far too long.", Said Rhett. Kara sneared, "You have had your fun, now it's time to pay the price. Samantha took over and wrapped her body around the Vampire. Kara made a spell so he couldn't vanish. Brett and Rhett made a deadly silver spell.
"NO!", screamed Luis. He had set his goal too high this time. Kara felt good to kill the vampire. She knew that Brett and Rhett were looking at Anastasia like a hummingbird at a beautiful flower. She kissed her brothers on the cheek and made her exit.
Brett asked Anastasia to dance but she didn't understand it would be with both of them. She felt like she was drowning between the 2 warlocks. She could smell them and knew they were into witchcraft. After Sam had taken good care of her she started to sober up.
She wasn't much of a drinker. She could hold her liquor but made up her mind not to. Tonight she was just angry. Now she was coming down from that anger. She was still a little light headed but she could still fight.
Brett was the big talker and he had her attention at the moment. Rhett got closer from behind. He was a good dancer and his body moved with hers. She tried to change her movements up to confuse him but he was still right with her. After Kara killed the vampire she had left but the brothers had stayed for Anastasia.
Anastasia let Laura come forward to talk but it didn't faze the brothers. Then Samantha had a chance to talk as well. The brothers fit well with each part of their mate. Anastasia wasn't used to men who could stay with each part of her. The Moon Goddess had chosen well.
Anastasia had heard of twin mates and them having one mate, she never dreamed that she would face this. She wasn't sure how it worked. She told Brett and Rhett that she wasn't sure about this. She had never been with a man, more less two.
Brett said that they had waited for their mate as well. He tried to reassure her that it would work. They had never been jealous of each other and would work out a schedule. She held Rhett in her arms and kissed Brett. It felt so right. Rhett kissed her next and she felt like a sandwich.
She invited them to meet her parents the next day so that the mate ceremony could take place quickly. She was 21 and ready to be a wife, lover and eventually a mother. She arranged a flight to Bora Bora, she called her parents with the information and then she took a long hot shower.
When Anastasia curled up in bed it was actually the day her parents would meet her mates soon. Mates, plural...well it was unexpected but did she loves these witches....warlocks. Right now she knew their scent made her drunk with passion and desire. She hoped love could be in the mix.
Brett made her feel equal. Like she mattered and her opinion was valid. She felt like he wanted more than sex with her. Yet Rhett completed the package deal. He made her feel cared about. Like her feelings were all that matters. She felt that together they were powerful too. When she was sandwiched between them she could feel a powerful surge of energy.
Could she finally have love? Could she finally be in love? What did love feel like? Would she know that she was in love? She had so many questions. Sleep finally crept up on her as the sun came up.
She slept for a few hours but she had to get ready for her flight. She had no time to be lazy and sleep in. No, today was the day. She would mate tonight in Bora Bora of all places. No huge gathering but it was exactly what she wanted. She had always wanted a more intimate setting for her mate ceremony. Now she would have it.
She packed light, one suitcase and her carry on bag. She would meet the twins at the airport. She got into the jeep and headed to the airport. Traffic was good and she was there early. She checked her bags. She checked in at the ticket counter and then sat down to wait for boarding.
The twins came in much later but were checked in just as the boarding announcement went out. She stood to greet them with a group hug. She kissed Brett so passionately that everyone could see that he was her mate. Rhett held her while she kissed his brother and turned her for his kiss. She was wrapped around him so fast that her head was spinning. Brett wasn't jealous at all. He just waited to ask her if her parents knew she had twin mates.
She hadn't told her parents anything other than she was bringing her mate to see them. She was waiting to mark them as hers. Her mates. It sounded incredible. She finally had mates.
