My training officially started when I came to live with my Grandfather. Five years old may sound too young but my life was in danger. The King of the North American Pack was out for my blood because he knew I could challenge him for the throne. Turns out he didn't have that long to live because my parents didn't want to take a chance on him attacking.
My mom is Queen Subrina of the North American Pack but she started out Daughter of Alphas Dean and Molly Evans. She was on her way to being the Alpha of her mom's pack at age 18 when unexpectedly she met my dad, her mate.
My dad is King of the North American Pack, His mom is Lady Juliet of the Mambas, and his father is the sentinel to the King of the South African Pack.
My parents are great people. Dad is a doctor with his own clinic and research center. Mom is a teacher, she has improved pack life for children by implementing many programs for kids of all ages.
I love living in South Africa. The weather could be better but I love the animals. The roads are shit but it has helped me in training. I run as my human self, as my wolf and as my snake I can slither. My dad is more snake than I am but for some reason I can transfer into mine.
When I was 16 (11 years with my Mambas) I found I could change into my wolf or my snake. I still have Wolffangs but my snake can control if the venom is released. The transition from one to the other is fast and most creatures cant find me.
Now here I am visiting my parents at the palace for my 18th birthday. My mom was the Alpha in charge of the mate chase when she was 18 and she requested I do the honors on my 18th birthday. How could I refuse the first woman I ever loved?
The palace has undergone many changes in the 13 years my parents have been there. It was a castle that was hidden by vines yet was old style with marble, gold, and other elaborate designs. Mom has made it look more like a home. She didn't change it so much that it looks frumpy, just enough that you don't feel intimidated when you enter.
I knew that the chase would be through the back garden and into the woods behind the palace. I was hoping that it would be soft lights, no frilly flowers and I was hoping that I wouldn't find a mate.
I know, I know, I should be ready, I should want a mate but I'm still trying to find myself. I don't know if I'm into only girls. I saw this guy that made my dick throb. What the hell does it mean? I've kissed one girl. She felt good, her lips were soft and I wanted her.
See I'm still sexually confused. Only the Moon Goddess knew if I was ready so, I guess she would know what I need. I was walking down the corridor to meet my parents. I hadn't seen them since they came to my 16th birthday party in South Africa.
I was announced, how funny. Prince Michael Levi Brown to see the King and Queen. As I made my way towards them they stood to greet me. My parents were smiling so much. Mom reached out for me to embrace, I twirled her around until she squealed, "Put me down this instant pup!"
I sat her down and reached for my dad. "Pup you better not even try that with me.", my dad laughed. I hugged him and slapped him on the back. Then I sat down on the steps up to the throne. "So, what's the plan Pa (Afrikaans for Father)?"
"We will talk about that at dinner, right now you need to go find your siblings. Rest if you want. Training is going on until 6. Dinner at 7. We will be having all of your favorite foods that mom cooks."
I decided that a good work out would be first, then shower and dinner. My siblings could wait. I hadn't seen Anastasia in over 5 years. I think she still has her soft curly hair and gorgeous eyes. The twins were at my birthday party but Ana couldn't come because she had dance rehearsal for the dance company show she was in.
She had been a total brat last time I saw her. She was cute, rich and had everything in her control. Yeah one of those girls. She had to have name brands, the coolest thing to show up on the market and the best people around her. Ugh, just thinking about it made me want to spank her.
As I made my way out to the training grounds I stopped to change clothes. I needed shorts and a tank, better shoes would help as well. I had enough hair to pull back so I thought I was looking good. I heard a lot of grunting, female grunts from what I could tell. We didn't fight under class women so it surprised me to hear a female who was obviously fighting a man.
When I stepped out of the shadows I saw a slender woman who couldn't have been more than 5'3". I doubt she weighed 100 pounds. She had soft brown skin, dark curly hair, I couldn't see her eyes but she felt familiar. She was fighting with the Beta. Punch for punch, kick for kick, she was holding her own.
I motioned for the Beta to let me try. He nodded and stepped out of the ring. As I walked up to her back, ready to grab her from behind, suddenly she dropped forward then jumped into the air swinging around to kick me in the jaw. "What the fuck was that!", I yelled out. She reached down and offered me a hand up. "Levi! I'm so glad to see ya big brother. ", Anastasia was happy to see me.
"Well when did you learn to kick like that Sis?", I was genuinely surprised. "Well I've been dancing for years and now I'm ready to fight. Because I'm small I've had to make adjustments to my fighting style. ", Ana looked proud of her skills.
"Do you want to spar for a while? Or go for a run?", I asked my sister. I truly wanted to see her skills. "Sure, let's take our wolves out for a good run before dinner.", she was in a great mood. "Maybe you can show me around since I'll be running around here tomorrow night.", I was hoping for a tour. "Sure!, Let's go!", she transformed into her wolf fast.
Running around in the woods with my lil sister was fun. This was the first time we had really spent much time together in the states. Normally we were in vacation locations or South Africa when we were together and she didn't have her wolf at that time.I noticed she could keep up with me now. She was a beautiful wolf, Her eyes were blue, her coat was a light gray. Her tail was charcoal as were one ear and her hind paws. She had several shades of gray on her head but mostly she was pale gray.
She had started running towards the back garden, I could see how mom had everything set up. It actually looked perfect. Then we went into the forest. We ran for several miles before she slowed down. She whimpered at me and walked over to a stream. We played in the water for several minutes before Joseph decided to have some fun with our sister.
When she turned her back on us we switched into our snake. Joseph took over and slid out of the water and onto a large rock. He loved the sun. Ana looked around and saw Joe. She suddenly switched into a Mamba as well. We were shocked. She slid up on the rock to sunbathe as well.
After 30 minutes she switched back to her human. I did as well turning my back not to see her naked. She laughed, "Modest? Levi it's normal for us ya know." Of course I knew but it was my sister. That felt differently to me.
"What is your snakes name?", I asked. "Sam, well Samantha but she likes Sam. Your snake is?", she asked. "Joseph but I call him Joe part of the time. How did you find your snake? I found mine a little bit after my wolf.", I said. "Actually I found sam first. Then Laura.", Ana said. "Wow, that's cool. I've spent a lot of time with the Mambas and I've never met anyone else like that. You're special Sis.", I had to talk to the Mambas about this.
"Laura is your wolf and my wolf is Hunter.", I said. I wanted to talk more but it was time to get back. "Let's get back or mom will be furious if we are late for dinner.", I said as I changed to Hunter. Hunter was huge, he was several shades of brown and he had gray eyes.
The garden had a floral scent but the forest was woodsy, with hints of musk. As the sun changed position in the sky the shadows of the night were starting to move in. This gave the feeling of danger or something else that was possible like you might be taking a risk.
Running back to the palace I noticed a shadow several times. I would dodge different directions from my sister to see if I was just imagining things. I realized that a wolf was following us. Well more like following her. I tried to pick up his scent but all I was getting was the woods and musk around us. I felt like it was a wolf but most wolves can't hide their scent.
I knew we would be able to fight off one lone wolf but still it was unsettling. This wolf was following Ana. She is a princess not some she-wolf to play around with. My anger grew so much more. I would need to speak to Pa about this. I felt like I had several things to say to him.
We made it back in time for a shower before dinner. "Thanks brat, I feel better about tomorrow now." I poked her ribs before heading into my room. "No problem bruh.", she lazily said through the door.
I quickly took a hot shower, then dressed in jeans, a black hoody with a green Celtic dragon and boots. I walked quickly to my fathers office as I always could find him there. "Pa?", I said as I knocked while opening the door. He looked up and motioned for me to sit. "What's up my boy?", he sounded happy I was home.
I quickly told my story about our run. How Ana and I both can change into snakes. How I want her to train with the Mambas for a couple of years. The most important part was the lone wolf I could sence but not smell.
My father was suddenly in the role of King. I watched as he spoke with authority. He sent out sentinels in all directions. They were watchers, if a lone wolf is following the princess then he would be found.
"Now let's get to dinner before mom gives us the riot act.", he said as he slapped my back. I shook my head in an affirmative manner. The twins practically ran us down, like they were starving. My sister came out of her room smelling fresh of her shower. We all met my mom at the door to the dining room.
"Just look at you lot.", she said with a smile. It had been several years since our last family meal. She opened the door to reveal all of my American favorite foods. I saw her famous squash casserole, cream corn, fried okra, sliced tomatoes, stuffed cabbage, dirty rice, roast with gravy, carrots, onion, and potatoes. I saw a chocolate cake, coconut cake , red velvet cake, and carrot cake. We had black berry cobbler, peach cobbler, raspberry tart, key lime pie, and brownies.
She had gone way above my expectations. I kissed her forehead as I said, "Thanks mom!" She just smiled as we all sat down. Then she spoke before sitting down, "I am so happy to have my family together again." I saw a tear flow down her face. My dad took her in his embrace and held her for a minute. Then he had her sit at his right hand. I was at the end where mom normally sat. my sister was beside mom, my twin brothers on the other side.
I talked to mom about the mate chase. I felt as ready as I would ever be. I also brought up Ana coming back with me to train with the Mambas. Ana was excited about the trip to Africa. The twins of course didn't want to be left out. We decided that we should talk more in a couple of days.
I was excited to train side by side with my siblings. I felt together we were unbeatable. No one could fight the Brown Family. Well not and live anyway.
