The drive is quiet.
Not like I expected small talk and shit, but I am nervous as fuck. I don't know what I am expecting but I expect him to still be the Ford I know. "You don't have to be nervous." Elliot comforts me.
I know Ford, he is a fucking fighter. Stronger than anyone I know; he will be fine.
I know that but how much more can he take of all this. there is so much someone can take before they finally break, I just hope I get to him before he gets to his limit. Before I lose him completely.
The car parks in front of the hospital. It is not even far away from their house—I am not calling that place home anymore. I don't belong there, and I never will. It is best for me to just let go of that part of my life.
