*Third person's POV*
Vahn woke up in a world of white, just blank whiteness. There was one object there, a simple screen with a red button. The button had 'Shuffle' [rinted on it in minimalist fonts. He assumed it was the world travel tool in his mindscape.
'*sigh*... Did I die again?' Vahn thought with regret and tiredness apparent in his voice. he tried to assess his situation and found out that this time, he has his body and there is someone there with him.
It was the girl he said or at least, tried to save.
"Umm... Hello! Didn't think you'd die too.." Vahn says with hesitation and melancholy present in his voice.
(AN: I don't know how to capture Fleur's accent so yeah... you just gonna pretend she is talking in her throaty and cute accent)
"oh... Hello, I didn't die though. When I laid down to sleep, I just ended up here. My name is Delacour... Fluer Delacour"
'If I remember correctly, shes the quarter veela that appears in the fourth movie' Vahn thought.
"Ah ... yes, I am" fluer replies, startling Vahn. 'can she read my thoughts? But I have occlumency running full force' Vahn thinks while being afraid for the first time after being reborn. "I can read your thoughts but aren't you doing the same. I haven't spoken once, you know?" Fluer replies. When Vahn tries to remember if her lips were moving during talking and it seems her lips really did not move.
"But how do you know about the movies?" Vahn asks."Well as you know, we veela (even half or quarter ones) choose our one true mate for life and devote ourselves to them. What most don't know is that a soul bond is formed that as long as the other soul is alive, the veela lives and as the other dies, the veela dies too. But that is not the only use of the soulbond, we can read each other's memories too. Even those obliviated or from the past life if you remember them." Fluer replies clearly delighted from the question. "And you had the soulbond with me?" Vahn asks. "Ah yes, It happened when you saved me. It's a little embarrassing to say but it was love at first sight."Fluer replies demurely.
Vahn tried to verify her claim by trying to dive into her memories and he could see through the memories the fun childhood, the sad moments, and everything else. There was a peculiarity that as she got older in her memories, the more vivid they became. "So you know about my previous life?" Vahn asked. She smiled and nodded while thinking "I do, dear."
"Please just call me Vahn." He said with a blush creeping up his ears. "You look so cute when you are blushing, de- Vahn." Fluer replies while a smile blooms through her face. "you seem strangely mature for your age, Fluer" Vahn comments. "That's because I lived through your memories so my mental age is around the same as yours." Fluer replies.
"What about the reason for my rebirth?" Vahn asks slightly worried about what she would say. " I don't know, something is blocking me from going in that section..... I do know the purpose of that artifact though. You thought about it in your mind." Fluer replies feeling guilty as if she did something she shouldn't.
"Oh, It's alright. You can't really be blamed for that. Can this soulbond thing be removed or something?" Vahn asks trying to calm the situation, but it seems fate has some other plans."It can't. Do you not like me? Am I not good enough to travel the different worlds with you? I mean, from the future I saw in the movies, I may not be the strongest or best witch but at the very least I am the one who'll love you the most? Will I not be enough even if allow you to have one of those harems?" Fluer asks with tears threatening to fall from her eyes.
'I may be a virgin. But at least from all the anime I have seen, I can safely say that this girl is in need of some hugs.' So, he did what every self-respecting weeb would do. Vahn walked up to her and hugged her. "I didn't mean that I just think that when you supposedly bonded with me, you were just 10 years old." Vahn whispers in her ears. Fluer quietly whispers back "I don't regret it. Even more, now that I know who you are."
"But will you really be fine with me having more women other than you?" Vahn asks while eagerly awaiting her answer. "I am. As long as you look at me and just me when we are alone, I will be happy. I would love you till my death even if you ignored me all your life. After all, that is who Veelas are."
After separating from her, Vahn asked " How was my body's condition?" "your body is recovering at an extremely fast pace...like around 100 times fast. Doctors say you'll be up and running in 2 days at this pace" fluer replies.
