My Grandfather or Lucius's Father. Namely, Abraxas Malfoy is one of those badass Grandpas. He has white hair styled in a way that gives a macho yet a gentlemanly vibe. With a beard that I am sure takes a lot of time to maintain.
I don't know whether it was because he lives in France that affected his sense of fashion or maybe just his acceptance of muggles that led him to appreciate the muggle fashion. But Damn did he look attractive. Tough I think Dad didn't appreciate it that much as his face seemed to on the verge of a frown that he stopped only with sheer will. (though I think Mil-tan in an outfit matching this one that he saw also added to his difficulties)
Abraxas Malfoy AKA my grandpa is a little strict from what I could guess from our little interaction. I along with my family arrived at the Ville de Maisons-Laffitte, Abraxas Malfoy's retiree home, a day before June 5th. I did some small talk with him at dinner.
He also called me and Draco at his study in the evening to talk. And from what I could guess he seemed overjoyed at our acceptance of muggles and their culture but not so much on the Magical Creatures side.
And I also bargained with father about my gift for 7th birthday being a better treatment of house-elves. Moreover, after I taught them some cooking recipes from my past life, especially the fast-food like Burgers and Pizza and stuff, they started calling me Great Master Chef Vahn. I am sure Gordon Ramsay would commit suicide if he heard them calling Master Chef with my level of cooking. I wonder if it would be a good idea to make him teach these creepy creatures cooking then obliviating him.
Moving back to my situation in France, I had a fun first day. I explored the mansion with Draco in tow and even flew on some brooms in the Garden. We are planning to celebrate my birthday at the mansion. And after that, I and Draco will be visiting Eiffel Tower in Paris while Mom And Dad go for their own personal tryst.
[Next day]
I had a fun birthday party and it was surprisingly normal and just like muggle parties, that is if we exclude the gifts. I am sure Draco enjoyed them too. As for gifts, Draco and I are paying for each other's dinner today at Jules Verne for our gifts to each other.
Dad gave a ticket for a one-visit to Dragons' Resort in Romania available for any day in the next 7 years. Mum gave both of us a broom. As for Grandpa, he said he'll give us some training for the most used 5 basic spells that can be used wandlessly with enough practice along with some fashion tips. To be honest, I was more excited about Fashion tips (to be honest, I requested him for this after Draco left on the first day in the study.)
After some chatter a few goodbyes, both Draco and I and departed for Jules Verne. The dinner was simply... Amazing. Though I can't say that they didn't rip us off. I mean it cost us a hefty sum at around 170$ per person and I could get an amazing Burger for under 10$. Yeah, I don't regret it though.
After all, dying once was enough to make me realize to appreciate the little things in our life. Moreover, It's not my money either but I still did lose half of my pocket money for this month.
After that Draco and I just went on an evening jog around town. I mean, after this much time and removing Draco's arrogance, snotty tone, and adding a little respect for all things non-pureblood with a few pinches of intelligence ( courtesy of occlumency) and you have got yourself a ball of excitement and curiousness that you would love to spend your time with.
We walked around the park and had some snacks. There were some funny occurrences when Draco was trying to pet a stray cat but the cat got agitated and tried to scratch him and boy was Draco scared.
He grabbed me and ran for a block straight with the cat chasing us and the thing that I found most funny was Draco's face that looked as if he had diarrhea and couldn't find a rest-room.
After this, Both we had a drink to calm ourselves, and then we were just walking by the roadside as I spotted a girl, around 10 years, old trying to cross the and there was the d of honking when a truck was just about to hit the girl. My body moved on its own and I just leaped to save the girl.
I took the girl in an embrace and tried to push myself off the path of the moving vehicle.
But unfortunately, I slipped and the truck hit me with all its force on my back. I am pretty sure that I broke a few bones but I could see the girl was fine. I was bleeding profusely and I felt the familiar embrace of darkness as I closed my mind.
All my mind could think of was ' THE TRUCK AGAIN!!!!????'
