Chapter 1 - Prologue: Awaken, Young Hero

Dizzy. So very dizzy. It was the only thought and feeling that would arrive to the people who had suddenly appeared into their life. A life of promised perfection.

Katilin Mercer was one of the new people as she began to open her eyes to the bright and random colours that shouted violently at her. Her body felt so heavy and it was tempting to fall back asleep even in this unknown area, instead, her right arm rose up and she wiped her eyes. She didn't feel tired, nor was their sand in her eyes, but these actions felt natural at the time. Rising from the ground she stretched her body and got up from the ground.

A boy laid beside her but she could hardly look at his features, instead light pierced in from the stain-glass windows as she focused on where she was. A sun was above her, around the mid-day mark, and that caused the dome of colours to blossom and shine. There was a panel for every colour thinkable with the exception of black and white - for some odd reason this made her remember a conversation with a friend. She didn't know who this friend was, even their gender was unknown, but she knew it was in some sort of lecturing tone.

"White and black is shades, not colours," it said to her but as the white puffy clouds covered the sun for a few seconds she still was sure this building held everything.

There were seven exits to the dome that had little signs that read to where each area went. Casino, hospital, bank, weapon store, armour store and general store were written in neat handwriting. Right in the middle of the dome was stairs that seemed to lead upwards but a sign read in bold: OUT OF ACTION. Each sign had a bearing of a compass to tell where that direction headed, it was so odd yet welcoming as if that small detail told Kat where she was.

It was then that she heard a voice. It was the average voice of a male, deep and somewhat endless but he was clearly still young as his voice stayed at a mellow tone.

"You got thirty minutes, maybe a bit more, to explain who you are and where I am!" As Kat turned to face the voice it was the boy had fallen asleep nearby her and his expression seemed to instantly change as he viewed her. His eyes traveled downwards as a pink blush appeared on his face, any incoming words were stumbled endlessly. By the time he went back to looking at her face, he had a weird smile on his face.

The feeling of his eyes on her didn't seem to phase her, Kat loved this sort of attention but his words had already caused some issues. She walked closer to him and stopped above him, just barely, being forcing a smile on her lips.

"Good question, please return to me, Kat, whenever you have the answer honey," her voice was a delight to hear. Each word seemed like it's own song and melody and it forced the boy to stop, his face growing pinkier by the moment.

"M-my name is Felix, not honey," he struggled to get his words out perfectly but his attitude seemed to change after he cleared his throat. "I don't understand this. Why do you seem familiar to me… his words trailed off as Kat's smile disappeared. She too felt this presence of similarity and as the silence went on she looked at the colourful glass for some sort of aid.

It had a beautiful shine to it, managing to reflect her own features back to herself which gave her some confidence. With her auburn hair in grasp she bit her lip before turning around.

"It seems… we are Team Red."
