Among the lineup for the first day of the spring festival were INTERMISSION directed and produced by Director Ma, BLACKSPOT produced by Star entertainment and Phoenix entertainment and directed by Directo Wang, THE PACKAGE produced by Velocity holdings and directed by Director Antonio Hsu, and dark comedy EDGE OF THE EARTH produced by Lint tv and wow pictures and directed by Director Zhang.
The lineup was filled with many heavy hitters in the industry with THE PACKAGE being the only production from a relatively new production company. Critics had very low expectations of THE PACKAGE because not only was the production company new in the industry, the cast of the movie had a relatively small fan base.
