I watch as Dreag at first, slowly opens his eyes, before shooting upward with a start.
'Guess he's awake then.' I think as he looks around the room before finally looking at me as I sit on my black chair. He raises his arms as he looks at his body, seemingly feeling the suit before speaking.
"What happened? I should still be in a coma?" He asks with a hardened face.
'Dreag is still Dreag.' I think as I see his hardened face, still showing little emotion. Just like he would when he taught or was thinking, his expression would harden.
"We left the Restard Kingdom behind after I defeated Aurora and got you out. We are currently inside the cube which is flying towards another region of the continent." I say as I look down at my watch. It is currently around noon since the arrow is pointing at a full sun.
He grabs my arms as his face has a conflicting look. It's as if he can't decide between hating me for hurting his other student, or thanking me for getting him out of the prison. Even if Aurora betrayed him in a sense, it doesn't mean he no longer cares for her. That's when two important questions appear in his mind.
"Did you say we?"
At this moment, the door opens as Jack enters wearing black jeans and a blue long sleeve shirt.
"Kurayami! These clothes are amazing, and surprisingly durable!" Thats when he sees Dreag sitting up on the bed, the black suit hugging his body.
Jack walks up beside me while almost falling over the massive cat that sits behind me. I hold my hand out as I use the skill Absolute Darkness, the shadows come to life as they gather to build a simple chair. Jack stairs at it for a few moments before patting it, making sure it is actually solid instead of hollow like a prank I pulled a while ago. He nods in satisfaction as he sits down and looks towards Dreag with a serious look.
"I am done following my father's footsteps, and I don't want to. Not after I found out he has been hiding things from me and telling my sister. He surely didn't see me as any inheritor to the throne." He says as he clenched his fist and looks towards me.
"Would you be willing to make me a set of armor like mine? Except without the kingdom logo....I don't have money to pay you with yet but if you let me-" I hold up my hand.
"I consider you like my brother, I will make the armor free of charge. You chose to leave the castle with me instead of stay with your father, and I am eternally grateful....what about your mother?"
He rubs his chin as he thinks before nodding. "She is safe, my father wouldn't dare hurt her. She probably knows more about the kingdom than he does about his own foot."
I nod, "But if he tries to hurt her, I won't hesitate to save her." I say with sincerity in my voice, trying to show my standing.
He smiles and nods, happy I have his back. "I'll take you up on that offer if that time comes."
Dreag speaks up, seemingly overwhelmed. "Wait, you defeated Aurora?"
I nod, "Yeah, what is so shocking about that?" I ask as my curiosity is piqued. Now Jack is looking at me with a look of shock.
"You seriously don't know the importance of what you just did?" Jack asks with his face of awe.
I shake my head with a calm look, but internally, I'm starting to worry. 'Did I do something wrong?"
"You just changed the hierarchy that has been set in stone for over 500 years. This is going to send the world into an uproar." Dreag says as he stares at the floor slack jawed.
I freeze up as the importance of what I did sets in, 'I just changed the world, I changed history with a single fight. I haven't even been in this world for 10 years, but I have already changed it. Would I be considered overpowered?' I ask myself while I contemplate.
Dreag comes back to his senses, "How did you save me anyway? Only wind magic users can usually enter since they don't have to breath the gas."
I smile wryly as I wave my hand, the mask popping into existence as it lays on my hand. "Would you believe me if I said this is how?"
He grabs the mask as he turns it around in his hands, looking at it before holding it to his face. He lets go and it begins to fall. I quickly hold out my hand as a black tendril grabs it, "It needs a special holder to attach to your face. That way, this can only be used by me unless I build it into a suit of armor."
Dreag nods but still has a look of shock in his eyes, 'This kid is definitely something else entirely.'
Jack reaches out and grabs the mask as he looks at its features, the circular teeth and the gas tanks on the sides creating a scary look. He hands it back to me with a face of wonder as I wave my hand, causing the mask to disappear.
'Today is a day full of shocking discoveries I guess.'
We sit in silence for a second before Dreag asks me another question. "What about the others that were in the room with me?" This is the other question that has been bugging him, he needs to know what happened to them.
I shrug, "They should be awake in a few hours, I stopped the gas from entering the room. I couldn't let people die to that gas, it's my responsibility since I broke the door." Dreag stops moving as he begins to stare at me.
"What?"
"They should wake up in a few hours because I stopped the gas from entering." I answer but am quickly cut off by Dreag. "No, the other thing."
"I broke the door? Yeah that thing was a pain in the ass but I was able to do it, although I exhausted my mana doing it."
'Speaking of, I need to start refining my core.' I think as I remember that I can now break past it.
He stands up quickly as he walks towards the door, "Where is a fighting arena? I'm going to test your strength myself."
