'It's hard to believe that trip lasted over a month.' I think as I lay in my room, staring up at the plain white ceiling. I glance down at slime Winter as he silently purrs, then my eyes drift to the massive 6 legged cat at the end of my bed. Her fur gleaming beautifully in the warm light provided by the crystals secretly embedded in the room.
We had arrived at the castle with no other problems besides the cube incident which made the trip very peaceful the rest of the way.
As I run through everything that has happened, I suddenly remember the white dragonborn and what she said. "The king wanted to talk to me in the shadow realm for some reason, although how she got here raises a few questions for me....."
I move to a sitting position as I ponder my questions, 'How did she get here? Was talking to me her only goal? And what was the weird tabaxi doing with her?'
I get up as I wear a face of determination. "Trying to figure them out this way will get me nowhere! Besides, I have been gone from the world for far too long! And I don't have any classes from Teacher till next week, so I can adventure to my hearts intent."
Winter yawns as he jumps up and lands on my shoulder. I feel him suddenly liquify and watch as he melts before my eyes and slowly crawls across my arm, tickling slightly as he glides to my hand before gathering on my finger and hardening into a ring.
Blossom looks up and yawns as she stretches before jumping up from the ground in front of my bed. She walks over to my side as her eyes brighten, ready to go on an adventure.
I smile as I grab Blossom nape and activate 'Home Realm.' I watch as my vision becomes pitch black momentarily before I am standing in a green field, the sun shining down on the beautiful sea of flowers as shadow creatures run about.
Blossom sees these creatures and chirps menacingly as she stares at a shadow rabbit hopping towards us. Before I can even react, I see her slowly walking towards us with a black rabbit in her mouth, wisps of black flowing off of it.
'Guess you can't suppress instincts.' I think as I watch her lay down and begin licking her prey. I shrug as I sit down beside her pet her soft white fur as we enjoy this peaceful moment. After about a minute, she is finished with the rabbit as she unhinges her jaw and swallows it whole. Afterwards, she rolls over and lays her large head on my lap, closing her eyes as she falls asleep.
After an hour, she is finished with her little nap. She lazily wakes up and stretches, signaling that she is good to go.
I get up and go to climb on Blossom when I realize that she is lacking a very important thing, a custom saddle. I feel a gelatinous blob begin to form on my shoulder and rub it's head as it meows with joy.
I create a blueprint in my head and begin to make a custom saddle for the six legged feline. After I finish, I smile at my white and purple creation and begin to fit it onto Blossom. She looks at me strangely as she eyes the saddle up before I suddenly jump onto it and she begins to understand it's purpose.
I latch my feet into the two latches I have equipped on the sides as I clip myself into the harness that I have attached to the front of the saddle as well. 'Ok, I have used the material that was used for the tendons of the Dragon Sonic blueprint for the harness and its metal for the clips. I hope I don't die.....'
I laugh nervously as I point at the mountain, "Full speed past that mountain and into the town!" Blossom's eyes glow as suddenly, ice forms over her claws as they dig into the ground, and steam begins to float from her mouth. 'What have I-' is all I can think of before suddenly being pulled at a speed that is barely feasible.
I watch as everything blurs past us before we begin to slow down. As we slow down, I heave in a heavy breath as I can finally breathe again.
As we slow down, the town entrance enters my view, with people casually walking in and out. Blossom suddenly stops and with her she carries a massive storm, winds blow past us violently as the guards hold their hands up to cover their faces. As the winds die down, one of the guards shouts, "Who is it?!"
As the dust settles, they see a strange six legged creature with a person strapped on top of it. The guards' eyes narrow as they both point their spears at me, "State your name and identity stranger!" I quickly shake my head as I try to settle my spinning vision which takes a minute, but as the seconds tick by for this minute, the guards grow even tenser as they shout, "Stranger! Identify yourself or we will attack!" Blossom hears this and immediately takes an attack position, ready to defend me at a moments notice.
I finally regain my vision as it slowly steadies itself. And the first thing I see are two Dragonborn pointing their silver spears at me, their arms shaking. And Blossom, who is now crouched down and gives a deep threatening chirp, as if she's ready to attack at any moment.
I quickly unlatch myself as I jump down and quickly try to stop the murder of two guards. "Please calm down, I'm Kurayami and this is my mount, I came to talk with the king as he requested to see me." They glance at eachother before the one on the right tells the left guard, "Go ask the head guard if this is true, he should know..." and looks back at me, "I'll watch him."
The guard on the left nods before turning around and begins walking towards the entrance, but before he can even take 3 steps, a voice comes from between them, a high pitched, feminine voice.
"No need, what he says is true, let him in." The guards both turn around to see a white Dragonborn with a black hood standing in between them. The guards gasp as they see her and immediately bow their heads in respect.
"It's you again..." I say as I look her over. She silently nods as she begins to walk towards the gate. "Follow me, I need to take you to see the king, after all, you kept him waiting for over a month."
I laugh as I hop back onto Blossom. "Walk? Let's take Blossom instead, we will get there much quicker." She looks at the creature with a wary glance before shaking her head, "I would prefer walking."
I shrug as Blossom begins walking forward, "Suit yourself and I can make it there myself."
She stares at me with a confused look, "How? I know you have never been there before."
A smirk forms on my face as I rev lamp my feet in, "Because I practically made this place."
As her face contorts into one of disbelief, Blossom climbs over the wall and into the town, the castle our target.
