People gasp and point at me and Blossom as we jump from roof to roof, going past the districts with ease until we reached the castle. I suddenly feel a large presence press down on me as we reach the castle's gate and a volley of guards come charging out, surrounding me.
As I glance around, I see that a small opening is made as a knight with slightly purple tinted armor walks forward, his green snout sticking out from underneath his helmet. He looks at the six legged creature, seemingly scanning it, before looking towards me.
I glance at the armor and then notice the impossibly large sword on his back as my eyes narrow, the blade's purple damascus layering shines in the light. 'A great sword user, this could be a small pain if I had to fight him right now, I still have yet to finish my version of the Dragon Sonic and I don't think becoming a dragon that could flatten mountains in the middle of town is a smart move. It will only restrict my movements.'
He coughs a little, clearing his throat, before he speaks with a deep voice. "State your business before we chop you into bits." I am slightly taken aback by his words, but quickly regain my composure before stating what needs to be said, "I'm Kurayami, and the king has requested a meeting with me, I have kept him waiting for a month and would not like to keep him waiting any longer."
He looks me over before snorting, "And why would he request audience with a 10 year old pre pubescent child."
I smirk coldly as I stare at him, "Because this 10 year old is a fellow Shadow Dragon King, now please excuse me as I need to take audience with him immediately."
The guards chuckle slightly as one of them makes a comment. "So you wanna play like that kid, we don't have time to-" he is cut off as the guard raises his fist, silencing the chuckling guards.
"This kid isn't lying, as there are no humans here by any natural means. He must be telling the truth as he is scaleless and currently doesn't even have a tail." As he finishes, he points at my rear as the guards come to the realization that I don't have a tail.
I let a breath out, not even realizing I was holding one in. The knights lower their weapons, realizing that even if they attacked me, it would be hopeless if I was a shadow dragon king unless they want to cause a holocaust.
The knight nods towards me as he turns around and begins to walk in. "Please follow me, I will take you to the king's chamber." I nod as I ride Blossom through the massive gate, the guards look at the massive white and pink feline. I glance over at Slime Winter as we are walking and my jaw about drops. I am watching as he is casually sleeping on my shoulder, with no signs of pain from the insane speed the Mocouger did minutes ago.
We continue to walk as we navigate massive halls worthy of a kingdom, as we pass maids, they bow towards the head guard before continuing their duties. As we continue to walk, I hear a calm voice come from behind me.
"Good morning Voron." Along with the click of heels behind us. I look back to see a charcoal semi-human dragonborn in a black dress, frills flowing out of it as the gems on it shine in the light.
As she approaches, she slows and gazed at the massive six legged creature before her eyes with curiosity. I bow my head, knowing royalty when I see it, I don't care for titles, but I do care about manners. She smiles and does a curtsy, her dress swaying with her young elegant body. And as she finishes her curtsy, she asks me, with curiosity plaguing her voice, "What is this creature your riding? And that one on your shoulder?"
I smile a fanged grin as I rub Blossom's neck, "This is Blossom and this sleeping beauty here.." I say as I point at Slime Winter, "..is Winter. Blossom is a Mocouger and Winter is a slime."
She gazes at them both with curiosity before the knight walks up and asks, "Princess, what is your reason for coming? I thought you were training your magic with Drovin?" He asks with curiosity.
She nods and her face grimaces, "I was, but I can only deal with his attitude for so long, does being the head mage really make you that arrogant?"
The knight named Voron laughs heartily at her question. As he calms down, he responds, "I don't know but he has been like that for a while now." As he laughs, a smile comes across the princess's pretty face, making the room seem a little brighter.
As he finishes and calms down enough, she looks over at me and asks politely, "So what is your business here sir?"
'Sir? How old do I look?' But I quickly realize that it is her just being polite, which reminds me that she was raised to be a princess and not a snobby brat. Besides, being respectful to those you meet at first is good because you don't want to offend someone who could be a very important person.
"I'm here to have a meeting with the king, who apparently has been dying to meet me."
Her face looks slightly confused, seemingly questioning as to why a 10 year old is meeting her father. She glances over at the knight who quickly answers, "I have no knowledge as to why the king wants to meet him, but he is another Shadow Dragon King so it must be related to that."
Her face goes from confusion to shock at the sound of the words 'Shadow Dragon King.'
Suddenly, an odd music begins to play in the back of my head. 'What the hell?' Is all I can think as I hear 3, 2, 1, let's jam!
